KONG - Quest Star Pod - Treat Dispensing Dog Toy for Light to Moderate Chewers (Assorted Colours) - For Large Dogs

This is another good Kong toy. It is sturdy as are all kong toys. It is good for my dog to chew and can insert treats to add extra interest.

My dog loves these silicone toys but sadly they split after a few months. However, whilst they remain intact he just loves them so I'll continue to buy them.

Love the idea of this toy , with lots of little sections for food to be hidden. However this product is poor quality.Not what you would expect from Kong at all. As a dog trainer I have bought and used Classic kong with many breeds of dog .I would advice if you are thinking of buying the Kong quest star pod don't bother. I used this with a patterdale cross (light -medium chewer ) under very close supervision . It was showing splits in the rubber within 10 minutes if that.

So, I had two of these Kong star pods in the past and my dog loves them. I use them to put the treats in called "markies" and carrot slices and they both fit nicely into the holes. I know that Kong star pods that I have bought in the past were descibed as "large" star pods for large dogs. I've had them so long I was keen to get a replacement as my dog would be lost without them. They had sold out before Christmas so I was happy to see them back on Amazon in January 2023. The Kong star pod arrived today and it's TINY. It was described as for large dogs, but this is a inaccurate desciption. It's more for tiny dogs and should not be being advertised as something for large dogs. This is a mis-representation. I should have paid more attention to the picture showing the scale of the item, but when something is described as "large" and you know there are two sizes of the item, small and large, you kind of make the assunption you are getting the larger of the two! Don't buy unless you have a yorkshire terrier. I will be complaining to the seller.

My dog likes this. Stuff it with treats and she is happy for a few minutes anyway. Durable. Would buy again.

Bought it as thought kong products were very durable and safe for dogs - I have a 7m dachshund and he has had it twice and he has bitten straight through it so used for approx 1 hr in total - expensive for an hours use - very disappointing! Wouldn’t recommend.

My does loves these. I put chicken, potted beef, dog treats in them and she spends lots of time getting ever last bit of food out of them. They are quite sturdy, easy to clean and she's had hers about 3yrs. She has three of these toys so I can fill them all, put a couple in the fridge for later, so she's never bored for long.

DAs ist nun der dritte Kong, den wir kauften. Einen haben wir verschenkt. Aber es ist ein tolles Spielzeug um den Hund zu beschäftigen. Ob das nun Futterkroketten sind, die genau rein passen, die lassen sich prima raus knabbern, oder ob Käse oder Leberwurst rein geschmiert wird, der Hund kann wunderbar kauen, schlecken und sich die Zeit vertreiben. Und wenn er auf dem Material herumbeißt, macht das nichts. Das geht nicht kaputt. Der eine Kong tut nun schon einige Jahre seinen Dienst und fängt langsam an kleinere Risse zu bekommen. Dann gibt es nach so langer zeit einen neuen. Übrigens prima in der Spülmaschine zu reinigen.

I got this for my 14 lbs dachshund and he LOVES it. I stuff all the holes with veggies or bits of meat or treats or peanutbutter or sometimes I'll put in some unsweetened applesauce and freeze it - the possibilities are endless. It's a Kong so it's durable. The shipment was late but it was worth the wait. Great toy, no cons about it.
