Tobi Steamer
The Tobi steamer worked perfectly for a few months, after which it's effectiveness gradually declined, even with the use of ionized water as recommended with the manufacturer. I am hoping to try and flush the system to get it working again, but it works great when it steams to its maximum capacity.

Owned, would never buy again
I bought this same exact steamer from Costco a few years back: The end the steam comes out of: broke apart/open within 2 weeks of normal use. The steam comes out fizzling and will also spurt hot water: Not good for you or for steaming your clothes if you plan to wear them after steaming. I really recommend looking at other steamers. This has 49% 1 star ratings on amazon! There are 49% reasons why!

it does the job
I've had the steamer for about 2 years and it's pretty much not working anymore so I'm buying a new one. I think it works pretty well for a steamer. Yes it doesn't get the same results as an iron but I don't care. You have to take time and effort with an iron too and it's not always that great or easy either. You have to get used to the steamer. I never really used it the way they show on the infomercial. Just experiment and be careful not to get burned and you'll be fine.I thought about buying a different brand this time around but I like the look of the tobi (since it sits in my bedroom I don't want it to look bulky) and it's easy to fill the water. My brother has a more industrial brand (I don't know what it is) but I didn't like using it, -bulky and sometimes dripped water.

Garbage
This steamer is a piece of garbage. When I attempted to use the steamer, it seemed pretty simple. Assemble the few pieces that weren't preassembled for shipping and packaging purposes, fill with water and turn on. Even little kids could figure this out. I assembled everything properly, filled with water, plugged in and turned it on. Only thing was, it had no power. I purchased this before moving and missed the time frame to return it to the seller. The steamer supposedly has a full factory warranty of up to 1 year, but the 2 websites listed are no longer available and when I called Customer Service I waited for over 45 min and was told I could not be helped. DO NOT BUY THIS STEAMER!!!!!!!!!!!! There are plenty of other steamers out there at comparable prices that work just fine. Still trying to figure out how to get my money back.

Tobi steamer
This is my second tobi steamer. I find it works better than my much more expensive Rowenta clothes steamer. I think the key is to periodically clean it out with white vinegar. It really does a fabulous job. I've recommended to all my friends!

love it.
We have a linen rental company and bring Tobi to all of our installations. Love it. The only problems are the connection between the hose and the body. It eventually breaks but that's because we use it so much.

Not worth the money!!
I bought this steamer about a year ago and had problems with it immediately. The water holder started leaking water from the bottom every time I turned it on. When I contacted their customer service they were not helpful and after repeated attempts I finally got the replacement part. The steamer quite working about 9 months of use and mind you it was only used on my husbands suits at most once a week. It quite blowing steam, I would have to move/jiggle the attachment to get steam to come out and the steam that would come out was very little and "warm" at best to describe temperature. It finally quite working all together. I contacted customer service but they were not helpful and refused to cover my product under warranty due to them issuing a damaged item in the beginning that I finally got replaced. I figured that after spending so much money on a product I expected it to work for longer than that and actually be of good quality. My advise, do not buy it, shop around and read feedbacks on items you are considering buying. I've now read the reviews on this item and had I read them prior I would have never bought it as many other's had very similar experiences with their tobi steamer and tobi customer service.
