The Chair is nice, but the battery is horrible
Updated on 1/30/2025The chair is essentially dead, the battery no longer holds a charge and the motor no longer leans the chair back. This was an incredible large waste of money for how much it cost at the time.Leagoo is like any other throw away Chinese brand, sell a bunch of cheap stuff and disappear. Never again.Original:The chair is nice, it is sturdy and can be comfortable. However one of the features of the chair is it's battery, you charge it and then you can recline, or sit back up by using the buttons (no other way to do this). However, the battery dies all of the time, even when the chair is not in use the battery dies. I thought the battery would be fine, the reclining function isn't used often, but when it is, it's only hitting the button for a few seconds. No, the battery is always being used and the chair will simply die after a few days of not being plugged in.Other than that? perfectly fine chair, make sure you get it on sale.

The most comfortable office chair, ever.
I've worked from home for the last eight years, and I also game a lot, so to say I put a lot of wear and tear on my chairs is an understatement. I usually go through an at least $200 chair every year.I actually bought this chair originally for my wife, as she has back issues and wanted to essentially lay all the way back while using her computer (with a wireless keyboard and mouse). She fell in love with the chair, to say the least. Before I go further, I will add the common refrain from everyone - it'd be a lot more convenient if the back and footrest portions raised separately. Having said that, their current simultaneous movement work out pretty well. One other thing I hope possible purchasers read: I do believe there's a difference between the brown and black versions of the chair. You can see where the arms attach to the back and seat that they are a little different. I have the feeling the ones with the worse reviews tend to be the black version of the chair. Just sayin. As my wife moved to another office, I started using the chair about three months ago - and it's starting to show signs of age, but it still works out great. I also replaced her chair with a new one recently during the recent sale for Christmas. So, we now have two of them, and they both get rave reviews from us.Note, I'm pushing 250lbs. and it's still quite comfortable, though I do worry that I would wear it out sooner than most. But, I haven't felt for any reason that it can't support me.Also, I keep a separate foot stool around, so that I can lean the chair back a moderate amount, and still sit in the chair, about 1/3rd of the way back, and get the benefit of the foot rest. I hope the makers of the chair get the message about changing the controls up a bit.If you get the brown version of this chair, I know you will not be disappointed. We've now had one of the chairs for TEN months (and at least 4 months of very hard use) and they're holding up well. If I get even two years out of the chair, it'll be well worth it.I see this particular model isn't available anymore - maybe some of them had some manufacturing issues. My wife and I both use the chair, and love it, and for hers, the battery died. However, when we contacted the vendor, they were SUPER attentive, polite, prompt, and after we were able to send them a picture of the battery, they sent us a new one, and it fixed everything just fine. This model is still super comfortable, the footstool supports your legs, and the customer support was excellent. (We've had one of the chairs around 2.5 years, and the second one right around 2 years now.) For office chairs, since, I work from home and they get well used, that's an amazing life span.I trust the vendor, so, if you can find a similar chair from them, I'd certainly recommend it.

Very comfortable sitting nap chair.
Got this chair shipped very fast.It is super comfortable.Pretty shocked to hear the leather is PU at this price. Thought it was real leather.I bought additional silicone locking wheels and they are silent and lock. Perfect for my wood floors. The recline would be ideal if the back of the chair reclined independently. It ONLY reclines in unison with the leg, which doesn't extend fully to the feet, but the padding is thick and plush..I bought it to sleep in also. I can sleep for 2 hours, but will get uncomfortable because I can't really twist around on my sides. But is an awesome napping chair.Has anyone come up with a cover system for this chair? Or know of leather arm rest covers? I have had about 7 PU leather chairs from Staples over the decades and the PU leather ALWAYS chips and flakes off after months.

Leg broke within 3 months
At first the chair was easy to assemble and fairly comfortable, although the fabric was a little too gripping. It seemed as advertised, although overpriced for what I received. I bought a large glass chair mat so the chair could easily slide around. The chair was delivered in October, the free return date passed 30 days later before I had even assembled it as I was on vacation. In January, one of the legs broke while I was sitting in it. I considered inserting the pictures of my bruised and bloody hand and wrenched knee when I toppled over against my desk. I weigh 235 lbs, and the chair lasted less than three months after I assembled it. The "metal" chair leg is wrapped around cheap plastic, which is what actually broke. I used mostly Amazon rewards to pay for the chair, but I'm still very upset over the pain it caused. It was used in a about a 4' x 4' area on a glass mat, and I used it very carefully. I see other reviews of people who have had the same issue. I would recommend NOT buying this chair.

Great purchase for the money. I’d buy it again.
Overall, I am very pleased with this chair.First, let me start with a couple of things to consider. The chair does take up a good amount of of space, so pay close attention to the dimensions prior to purchase. Also, it does require being plugged in in order to recline. Neither of these are negatives, just things to consider.Personally, I find myself wishing I had the option for the legs to kick out without HAVING to also recline the chair. Again, not a complaint, just found myself wishing it did this.My husband put the chair together and said it was very easy. There was one task that required two people and it was simple. The chair is incredibly comfortable, very professional looking, well built and sturdy and just overall and great buy. I spend a lot of time in my office between work and school and this has really helped with some neck issues I was having.I searched around prior to purchasing this chair and it was half the cost of anything else I could find. I would purchase this chair again.
