Wanted to update tile grout, but be able to remove if it looked pants. Some people don't like the grey (looks unhygienic) but it's on trend and alters the looks of a utility room / kitchen. Personally we think this works well. Its not a substitution to removal and re-grouting at all. It's a quick makeover that can be removed easily in the future if necessary. I would not use this in a bath/shower room as the ink comes away with hard scrubbing but for splash-backs it seems to work fine. I am quite meticulous so I went over the areas three times to make sure lines were straight and all white was covered. The pen is simple to use and cleans off the tiles with a hard wipe. So, quick detail change fine. Complete renovation not good enough. If you are careful, this can look great.
