Easy to Use
Does the job perfectly. I appears to be reliable and accurate. We're using daily at the moment to monitor temperature during chemotherapy cycles. Easy to use.

Nice and simple
Finally found a thermometer with 1 button. Simplistic - NO messing about with a range of different modes all accessed through one dodgy button ( like my last thermometer )The caps for the ear piece protector are not overly expensive to buy eitherThis is just what I was looking for!

Seems to do it's job
It's a basic Braun timpanic thermometer. I have to believe it's calibration but gives sensible results, and it's the reputation that makes one chose Braun.

Easy, quick and reliable thermometer
Very easy to use. Purchased as needed something reliable and accurate to check temperature twice a day for chemo. It hasn't let me down yet and to be honest, it's a good addition to any family home first aid box.

Great buy
Looks and feels good quality very easy to use.Has been very helpful to me, always handy to have in the home, and not heavy to hold.The only downside is looks like it will be difficult to change the batteries, as seen in the above photo.I will have to find something to poke in that little hole to help me unlock it.Lets hope they don't need to change too soon, and didn't come with a case of some sort.

Unreliable
I bought this thermometer when my baby was born and never needed to use it until a couple of weeks ago. When my baby felt very hot, I checked her temperature with this thermometer, but it consistently displayed readings around 36.5°C, 36.1°C, and similar values. I was very worried because she clearly felt much hotter.I took her to the GP, where we discovered that her actual temperature was 39.8°C. I double-checked with my thermometer at the GP’s office, and it still didn’t show anything above 36.5°C. Because of this, I had to rush her to the hospital, where she was hospitalized for a couple of days. For such a young child, temperature accuracy is critical.I am extremely disappointed and frustrated by this experience. A thermometer is a vital tool, especially when it comes to children’s health, and something this unreliable should not be on the market.
