Review: Large, sturdy, durable, well made, long lasting scoop!/ - I've had one of these for about 2 years. Personally, I think reviews from people who have had products for awhile are more meaningful because you want to know how a product holds up over time. This scoop is so good that I recently ordered a second one. Since ordering the first one, I've had scoops by other makers that aren't as good for a few reasons. Other scoops often have a poorly designed shape where they don't hold as much or the contents fall out easier, or they are somehow cumbersome to use due to the shape or design. Other scoops are often a low quality, cheap and flimsy plastic. This one holds a lot, the contents don't fall out until you pour, it's a strong and durable plastic. It holds up well overtime even being put in the dishwasher. I have included several photos of my older and newer scoops in two colours, shown how they look in my two dog food containers, how big they are in relation to my hand, and next to a tape measure in inches.

**Q: Would this be suitable to scoop out a measure of washing powder?**
A: No, I'd say it's much too big for that. I use it for scooping dry food for my large dog twice a day.

**Q: Is this a good size for a guine pigs cage?**
A: Ho there it is a great scoop, might be a bit big for what you need. Depends on how big the cage is :)

**Q: How wide is the scoop ?**
A: 9.5 cm wide, 7.5 deep and 17 long - quite large but very useful for scooping litter etc

**Q: I've been charged £7.48 for this item.  when i place the order the item was advertised at £2.99 and i should have had free prime delivery**
A: The purple one is much more expensive.  The green one is £2.99.

Ok, this is just a plastic scoop, which I use for getting bird seed out of large sacks/bins, for feeding the birds in my garden. It is a nice size, nice and deep. To try and give you some idea, a 100g jar of coffee sits comfortably in the scoop (just placing the full jar in the scoop, not the coffee contents). It is a nice thick plastic, not at all flimsy, nor does it feel brittle. It seems nicely moulded and no rough edges. I like the colour - as another reviewer has noted, it makes it easy to find it quickly. Being plastic it will not corrode and I would expect it to last a long time. The price seems ridiculously low, and the quality is much, much better then you might expect. I am going to buy a couple more while they are available.
