No, no cream needed-you just express a little milk into them first. They are amazing, definitely worth buying if you plan to breastfeed or are having problems with sore/cracked etc nipples as a result of feeding x

I don’t have the exact dimensions (around the size of a 50p coin), small enough that you can wear them out and about and they are not noticeable.

Why should nipples be washed before feed

Just because it would have "old milk" on, I suppose. I never washed my nipples before feeding. Just maybe wiped them if needed.

I’ve got no idea what the product you’re asking about is but I do recommend this cups for cracked nipples they helped me a lot, they only cover your nipple and aureola so they also protect against your bra touching your abused nipples
