I'm satisfied with my purchase and have come to get another. Why?My old halogen type torchieres finally bit the dust. Though poorly designed and a potential fire hazard (which is why they've been discontinued), they put out an enormous amount of light that literally filled my entire large living room. They were also very inexpensive.These cost a bit more but are VERY well designed, a breeze to assemble, are more stable even though they weigh a bit less, have a handy remote control and, most importantly, put out a good amount of light that can be adjusted to your liking from cool to warm and dimmed to bright. Not quite as bright as my old torchiere, but close enough. (Also, unlike my old halogen lamp, they are NOT a fire hazard, do not put out a lot of heat into the room, and will NOT consume gobs of electricity. They also, sadly, will not send the periodic horse fly intruders to horse fly heaven.)

I needed a bright light for my gameroom and this looked like a nice one. I like the ability to change the warmth of the lamp so if I'm hanging out in there and reading, I can dim the light and make it more comfortableAs soon as I put it together and turned it on, it was perfect. I knew I'd need two lights for the ends of the room and knew right away that I'd be getting another one. The second one came today and now the room is all set. I wondered if the same remote would operate both lamps but they do not. I put a sticker on each of the remotes number 1 and 2 so I know which one to grab when I need it.The lamp is super bright at the max setting and provides a very nice mood lighting vibe when turned down. The pieces of the pole that you twist together are super solid.

Love this lamp! The remote is great, in the evening, I can put it on night mode, which dims the room.Also can adjust how bright the lamp is. I like how I can adjust the beam of the lamp to reflect on the ceiling, which is much less harsh, lighting in the area I have it in.

I like the remote as well as the ability to change the lighting color.

The lamp was really nice although i was never able to get the remote working. Unfortunately it stopped working after 10 months. And it wasn’t even used that much .Update: they reached out to me immediately to make things right and shipped a new lamp to me. It’s working perfectly and I’m really pleased with the lengths they went to to make sure i was satisfied.

I've purchased two of these lights to place in the corners of a large living room without a good built-in light source, and together they fill the room with a very bright and pleasant light. One of the units shipped without a remote, but their customer service immediately shipped me a replacement unit - thanks Alice! The color temperatures for the different settings seem very accurate and the magnetic remote is a very convenient feature, I would highly recommend this product and company.

I bought 2 of these lamps and liked them so well I ordered 2 more. They are attractive, easy to assemble and dependable. My only complaint is that they aren't even brighter but it is nearly impossible to find something that is brighter than these. They are a great value.

I now have three of these which I purchased individually. They are a nice unobtrusive design and function very well. One of the lamps I received had some control problems. I worked directly with the vendor and received great service and a replacement lamp. Highly recommended.

stopped working 1 month after purchase and because I was going on vacation I couldn't return it.UPDATE: company reached out to me to exchange and new one works perfectly. Great customer service
