I use it all over when going on holiday to hot places as my feet blister,I start about 4 weeks before at bedtime and put socks on for a bit. I can honestly say that if I hadn’t discovered this cream I would have spent the last 6 years holidaying in Wales instead of Mexico etc. Try the silicone heel/toe protectors after applying if you don’t mind sweaty feet all night!! Great stuff 👟 **Q: Is this cream more appropriate for hiking than the Gewhol Extra?** A: I haven't tried the Extra version; but this foot cream is the best I have ever used for hiking and running. I walked the West Highland Way covering around 10-12 miles each day over rough terrain. Creamed my feet well before setting off in the morning and again in the evening after showering. I never had a blister or any other problems with my feet. I stumbled on it later than I'd have liked and I already had blisters. It never fully stopped them but once I started using it they healed quickly and it prevented them becoming a problem. I didn't have to use blister plasters once after this which was massively beneficial. Slather it on in the morning then put socks on (before bed too if it's bad) and put some on before you're going out on a run and it seems to work miracles. It's thick and not designed to absorb in quickly so you get a good coating of it - can't walk around barefoot with it on. It washes out of socks fine though.
