Gehwol 75ml Foot Cream, Strengthens Skin to Prevent Blisters

This has been a game-changer for me. Used daily on the Camino and before long walks, it strengthens the skin and genuinely helps prevent blisters and rubbing. I noticed the difference within a few outings - no hot spots on the heels or toes, even with new boots. erfect for hiking, running or city miles - pop it in the rucksack and you’re sorted. Highly recommended.

This cream was recommended by my chiropodist and has really helped my dry calluses. I am on my feet all day every day with my job. My feet have never been so great.

This stuff saved my feet when I was marathon training. I stumbled on it later than I'd have liked and I already had blisters. It never fully stopped them but once I started using it they healed quickly and it prevented them becoming a problem. I didn't have to use blister plasters once after this which was massively beneficial. Slather it on in the morning then put socks on (before bed too if it's bad) and put some on before you're going out on a run and it seems to work miracles. It's thick and not designed to absorb in quickly so you get a good coating of it - can't walk around barefoot with it on. It washes out of socks fine though. Tube is a good size, lasted me a couple of months and saved buying loads more blister plasters so I think it represents good value for money.

WOW! The only reason I am giving this 4 stars is because I have only had this cream for one day so far. I'll give it the 5th star once I've used it repeatedly and can give a more experienced view. Until then, this is my first impression of the cream: In my free time, I occasionally am a Runner in TV. Anyone who has worked on sets will know that depending on the show you can have insane hours on your feet. This weekend I spent 17 hours on Saturday on my feet and 14 hours on Sunday. Needless to say, my feet were not happy. Three days later and back at a desk, although my feet were not in as much pain, I was acutely aware of them. I decided to buy this on Prime and it has arrived this morning. I immediately put the cream on and, don't ask me how this works, but my feet are totally happy and pain-free. It's like it has erased my feet's memory from the weekend. I can't wait to try it in a few days time on my next shoot. In terms of blisters, I didn't buy the cream for that. But for pain relief it really does help!

Smother your feet in this stuff and help them survive a British winter! It’s thick and very fragrant. But massively reassuring. Have used it on tons of long-distance winter races in the UK and I wouldn’t chance a run without it. Protects and winterproofs your feet, especially if you re-apply at check-points etc. Particularly good if you are smashing through mud and bogs. Genuinely a game-changed and I recommend to other fell and mountain runners whenever I can.

Very effective, improvement of the skin after few usages,smell old school but not unpleasant, nice and thick so don't need to use lots, value for money

I walked the Yorkshire 3 peaks a few weeks ago and applied this to my feet on the morning of the walk - the weather was dire and despite having waterproof boots, water came over the top of them and soaked my feet - cue walking a further 10 miles with drenched feet! This cream saved me, the barrier it creates to protect your feet against blisters no matter what the situation is incredible - after hiking 26 miles and 3 mountains, I did not have one single blister by the end and my feet felt surprisingly fresh. Yes I had decent boots and socks which are a given but I’m certain had I not used this cream I would have been in a whole world of pain! Since the walk I’ve also used the cream on my feet prior to long distance runs and it’s works a treat, particularly if applied to known hotspots. I can’t recommend it enough!

Je suis satisfaite de cette crème qui est très vite absorbée par la peau et non grasse. Elle ramolie mes durillons sous la plante des pieds, donc moins de douleurs et me retarde ainsi les visites chez la podologue. Rafraîchissante et odeur agréable. Bon rapport qualité prix. Nadine
