This little device was the best buy we made, according to my wife. It may look a little simple on the photos, but this simplicity (controlling all pads from just one set of strength setting buttons) means it was so much easier to use during contractions. The two batteries (provided with it) lastef for the whole period of labour, as did the pads, just. One word of advice, definitely clean and thoroughly dry the area of skin it will be applied to it will stay on much better, and with that provide stronger pulses. The only recommendion is to buy a second set of pads at the same time just in case. The movement in bed due to labour, and putting on/pulling up clothes etc when visiting the loo can make them come off and stick to themselves. Another set of pads would mean that you have a backup in case,taking an extra worry out of the equation.

This TENS unit is for use in labour, I am a birth doula, and I loan these units to my clients. As any person that has given birth can attest, figuring out how to use something in labour is JUST NOT POSSIBLE. This TENS is perfect for pain relief in labour: it is On/Off, increase/decrease intensity, BOOST for during contraction, and a neck strap to remain hands free. It is perfection! I live in the US and have to order from the UK!

Used this for hours throughout my labour and it really helped. Really recommend, great price too. Instructions easy to follow and device easy to use.

This was returned together with another TENs machine which was also not suitable. Could you process the refund please? I'm sure it would be fine for obstetric use.

Purchased this to use for my Doula clients. I love that it is a small compact unit. Very simple to use and comes with a nice case and neck strap. Also has a boost button which is great for added comfort in labor.

I tried this product and it is very good. I am very happy for this purchase. Price is good compared to similar products.

Was delivered in a timely way, was fairly simple to figure out how to use (we had a minor issue-it said it could work with only two electrodes applied, but wouldn't for us; we had to apply all four first--but we were able to resolve it by reading all the directions and figuring out that the alert it was giving meant there was a disconnect with some of the pads) and seems to work fine. I bought it for use during labor, so I haven't really had a chance to fully test it out yet, but so far so good!
