It does have a hygienic clean smell to it so it would be ok for a locker room smell. Perhaps order one and test? You can also get a flatter, cardboard version of this air freshener but I much prefer this style. I always find with air fresheners that they do not last long enough, the smell normally goes away after a few days but I found I could still get the scent from this up to around two weeks.
