Kingkey 150x Black Rubber O-Ring Dampeners for Cherry MX Switch keyboard

I bought these as the noise produced by my Corsair K70 Mechanical keyboard was becoming unbearable. Let me tell you that these o-rings do an excellent job at masking a lot of the sound that is produced by the key caps. The o-ring itself just sits on top of the cherry switch, the installation of these o-rings was a little fiddly but I got there in the end. The o-ring has a very nice feel to it when it is installed onto the keyboard, this product also increases the key response slightly as you are not bottoming out the keys anymore.Overall, I would recommend these o-rings to anyone who is interested in reducing the sound produced by their keyboard as well as increasing the key response. Cheap and reliable this product is perfect for making you keyboard less clickaty the only problem I have with this product is that they don't supply and key puller or a form of cleaning the keys which is not too bad but I think it would be more practical to have them all arrive at the same time but still 10/10

Reduces overall volume of bottoming out, doesnt completely remove all sound, does reduce the distance required to bottom out, which is not always a good thing.

Works well with Gateron Brown switches and makes the keys feel more responsive. However, the bag I received didn't have anywhere near 150 rings. There was barely enough for my tenkeyless keyboard with 88 keys (perhaps 5-6 rings left after 88 keys).

They work, they slightly make my Cherry MX Browns a little more bearable.However; this is just cheap plastic/rubber. Although there were more in the bag than I needed; I couldn't help but feel totally robbed at £7.99 AND THEN having to pay postage for something so tiny / small.It does seem like the "going price" but these are made in china with the stickers and "Customer order" info still on; meaning if one was inclined they could order these from China and start selling them, I would imagine they wouldn't cost more than 50p per bag either. There's no branding or directions included (not that you should need to); it's literally just a bag of rubber rings.So yes they do work to make the noise of a mechanical keyboard a little more bearable but you pay through the odds for it.

I don't recommend these 70A shore o-rings for Cherry MX Browns because they are too hard which made the keys hard to press. And some of the switches didn't activate because of the o-rings, I had to replace them with 40A shore o-rings. Keep in mind that I use Cherry MX Browns so they could work better on other switch types such as blues or greens.

I purchased these to quieten my Filco Majestouch 2 keyboard down somewhat, as I am using it at work.It has definitely achieved that, my keyboard is still louder than a silicone membrane keyboard but not by much so in my eyes these are worth the asking price!

They're rubber rings, they go on your keys, the make them less audible, as simple as it gets really. They do the job!
