This 2kg bag is GREAT value for bicarbonate.of soda. I use it solely for cleaning so was finding the small pot versions in the cooking cakes aisle of the supermarket not very cost effective for throwing down pull holes. It comes in a very flimsy plastic bag, although double bagged, looking like a block of drugs 😂. For safety and security of storing it, I decanted mine into a small cereal plastic container that has a lift up lid down one end to easily pour down a plug hole. Found this works really well. I’ve tried many many unblocking drains products over the years and they’re expensive and many are ineffective too. There’s nothing better than bicarb and white vinegar. Unblocks plug holes and pipes really really well because of the fizz etc. This is a fantastic value bag for £6.99. Would definitely purchase again.

I have bought bicarbonate before, and got it for a smelly bed 😂😂 but it was only a small pack. Well this time I went for this much larger packet, as it was excellent value for money, as long as you're not fussed about fancy packaging, then this one is for you. It has loads of uses, but the one we use it for is a regular clea of the mattresses. We chuck on around 500 grams on a mattress, rub it in and leave it for a few hours. It absorbs the smells, and then you can vacuum it up, and all the smells are gone. It has so many cleaning options, it really is great stuff. Highly recommended
