Fjällräven Waterproof Kanken Outdoor Backpack

I've had a few of these over the years.They seem rather expensive but they're of excellent quality, last for years, are simple but very practical and classy.

The quality was really good and granddaughter so pleased with its functionality.

Fabulous quality and fit for everyday travelling & use.

Bag is well built and reliable, did not notice that it would smear bright clothes as others mentioned. However, its not perfectly black, creases are brighter, but maybe that's normal.

I have reluctantly given this back two stars due to the great disappointment with this item, which I will get to later.Purchase arrived before due date, and so it should considering the amount of p&p charged.The bag is smart to look at and appears well made and functional with the two carry handles on the top. Only a matter of time will show how robust and rain resistant it is ,( I'll be taking it on a 16 day tour of Iceland soon).Considering how VERY expensive the bag is, which I was willing to pay due to the belief it was Swedish and therefore of high quality, I was annoyed to discover it is made in China , and on one of the Fjallraven labels attached to the bag, customers are advised to rinse the bag in warm water to remove any excess dye to avoid colour bleeding, and to take care when carrying on light coloured clothing !REALLY ? For the the high cost , one should expect better quality materials, and to be made in Sweden .This bag is worth only approximately HALF the purchase price.I was considering purchasing a new Fjallraven jacket and hiking trousers for my upcoming Icelandic trip, but I will think again.

We bought these bags for our kids for our recent trip to Paris. We have LOVED the bags and have used them so far for our trip to Paris and for overnight stuff. They hold a LOT more than it looks like it would. Love that the bag zips all the way down both sides so you can load the entire bag instead of having to dig in the whole bag like you would a regular backpack. I give this product 5 stars--its held up well, its different than your average "backpack" and my kids have not complained ONCE about having to lug their own bags. HIGHLY recommend.
