These were cheap little gifts to fill out a present for two grandads and a husband. All 3 men seem to have a love for torches! But this is handy as it does pick up dropped screws and nails too. I'd not want to pay more than 10 quid for them, but £7 was a bargain. The magnet is OK, it's not the strongest if you need to use it to attach to the hood of you car for example. But great for the screws on the light side of it. I found it attached on the back end to my fridge ok, but when I pulled it out to be long, it didn't want to hold on. So there is room for improvement. But again £7! So I didn't expect it to be amazing! All 3 men who recieved one, have used it more than they thought they would and have kept them in car or tool box. They were better than I expected for the price. One came and the box was abit battered so the husband recieved that one. The other two came packed better without damage to box, so I could add it in to their gift. Quick delivery too. It was a good purchase.

Other half uses it a lot so it prevents lots of cursing and similar as he can now see what is inside a small, awkward space.

The pickup is sturdy and easy to use. Overall it is very good. I have dropped 1 star as I find the torch light a bit dim apart from that no problems

The media could not be loaded.  This is a handy little tool to add to your toolkit, for that obvious time you drop that screw or bolt in an awkward place. It extends and the end is bendable, giving it a wide range of places it can reach. There’s a magnet on both ends meaning not only can yo pick up things using the magnetic end, but you can also attach it to things using the magnetic rear of the torch. Now while you can attach it, it isn’t the strongest of magnets on the rear section, so caution is advised if you’re putting it anywhere it could fall and cause damage or injury.The torch is operated by one button, and it comes supplied with batteries. It’s a reasonably bright torch to use looking for things you’ve dropped, or just to look about.The black finish is nice and the addition of a shirt/pocket clip makes it easier to carry.So my final thoughts on this “ CUQOO Upgraded Telescopic Magnetic Pickup Tool with LED”;Quality. =Not bad (It seems well enough made, and quite strong)Aesthetic. =It’s a black torch so, light……Utility. =Good (Can be used to pick thing up, work light magnetically attached to something)Value. =Not bad (A torch normally by itself cost more)Would I recommend this “ CUQOO Upgraded Telescopic Magnetic Pickup Tool with LED”?, I’d say if you often drop screws or nails etc while working or doing DIY at home, then this would be just the thing, so “yes”

This is always kept in my car door, had proved useful as a torch especially as its flexible.Saved by colleague massively when he was changing his headlamp at work and dropped a screw he couldn't reach, i happened to be passing by and passed it over, he got the screw which cased any major issues with its magnetic feature. a real lifesaver i was told. comes in a neat little box to store it nicely.

As per the title, disappointed in this as the magnet isn't strong enough to hold the torch on a metal surface on the horizontal. I didn't notice until I'd thrown the packaging away otherwise I'd return it. It works otherwise as an extendable torch but I wanted to be able to use it properly like I'd seen other similar ones work. The magnet in the base is redundant now unless I want to pick up some paperclips.....
