Got rid of fleas in under an hour after washing.
So our cat got sent to get neutered and when it came back it was covered in fleas it got from other cats at the vets despite being wormed and apparently treated for fleas, we tried the usual spot on stuff and anti flea tick methods but couldn't get rid of them, fleas on his head, fleas on his butt and legs and in his tail, on the carpet, on my arms, biting my feet and ankles, it was a nightmare there fleas everywhere, the flea brush kept finding more and more.. nothing would get rid of them. I was skeptical about this having used various shampoos on other pets for skin problems or mites etc, and i knew plopping him in the bath or in water was going to be an ordeal but... this is by far the best flea treatment i have used and luckily cat was not in a scramming mood. It's so easy to use, you wet the cat, you put 20ml in a cup of warm water and mix it up (get this ready first), you pour the cup over the wet cat, rub it in like regular shampoo for a 2/3 minutes then chase your cat around the bath or bathroom with the showerhead or cups of water to swill it off. I could literally see the fleas trying to walk off his head through the shampoo while i was trying to swill him off. Within an hour he was literally flea free, i might wash myself in it later. Aside from some cats are a nightmare to bath and don't like water this is by far the best flea product i have used, no smell, no fleas, no chemicals, cat feels silky smooth and clean afterwards and you can't go wrong for the price, i would have bought more at this price if i knew how good it was, will purchase again in future.

WARNING: Read before purchasing
Being new to the management of feline fleas irritants I had tried everything from sprays, tablets to brushing and alas nothing had worked. So I thought the next obvious step would be to use a cat shampoo. With this being my first time, I read the instructions and they seemed straight forward - wet the cat, rub in shampoo, rinse and towel dry - considering i do this on a regular basis to myself, I thought I could handle it. However, I found out the hard way that cats do not like water, let alone being shampooed. Firstly, the cats sixth sense kicked in and he realised he was going to be getting wet; so i had to chase him around the flat prior to his bathing experience. Once he was caught, I then started what can only be described as a 'challenge'. Once in the bathroom with the door firmly locked, I started the bathing as per instructions on the bottle. The wetting of the cats fur, this I found out my cat did not like - he started hissing at me like i was next doors cat. Moving on to the shampoo being rubbed in the cat then seemed to accept his fate. The rinsing off of the shampoo however, was not as pleasant - the cat's claws came out and started scratching every part of my non-covered flesh; hands, arms and face - narrowly gauging out my eye. Once rinsed off and towelled dry, the cat then refused to come near me for about a week. The scars have now healed and the cat is now happy to be in the same room as me. Despite the traumatic experience for both myself and the cat and the slight blip in our relationship and I happy to endorse this product with 5 stars as the cat has had very little fleas problem since.

Not sure
Bought this as my kitten was too young for drops or a flea collar. Smells ok not nasty, lathers up nicely and I don’t see any sign of irritation. I bought because it’s safe to use. I didn’t see any fleas in the water or afterwards. However I wasn’t totally sure my kitten had them it was more of a precaution. Have used since when he trod in curry and had turmeric toes as again it’s safe to use.

The only one I buy
This is always a bargain price, and that plus being a known/trusted brand is what keeps me purchasing. It’s unbelievable how expensive pet shampoo can be! I really like the methodology behind using this as well; let’s be honest, it’s bloody hard to wash a cat! If you use this as instructed the process becomes much less painful for everyone. You just some (20ml) in a small container with warm water and lather up with a sponge. I actually put the cat on my wooden ikea bath tray to apply, holding the tray in place across the bath with my body and the cat facing the wall. He doesn’t mind too much when I lather the shampoo on him like this - it needs to be warm though! It’s very easy to get full coverage and then I leave him in the bath for a couple of minutes to work it’s magic. He may shake a bit (like a dog), hence leaving in the bath to avoid mess! I stay with him to make sure he doesn’t lick. Then back on the bath shelve and I hose off with the shower head. This part he doesn’t love, but he tolerates. Holding in that position with his head towards the wall makes it so much easier. Sometimes I keep him in the bath, but the shelf is better as it drains the water off. I put a hair stopper in the plug to catch the hair - there is a LOT. This means I get to see the fleas as well. It shocks me every time that there are so many… I think he gets them outside, he loves to dumpster dive and hunt rats (why he needs to be washed all the time!!) Anyway, it works. Kills fleas, smells lovely and leaves his fur super soft. Wouldn’t buy anything else.
