Active Noise Cancelling Wireless Headphones, ANCONE HiFi Stereo Deep Bass Over Ear Bluetooth Headphones with Built-in Microphones and Carrying case for iPhone/Android/PC (Black)

I've been looking for a decent pair of noise-cancelling headphones for some time now. It's a gamble buying online because you obviously don't know what the quality is like until you're in receipt of them. I spotted these and they looked like a bargain. Good reviews, etc. I wanted noise-cancelling for the office, as it's a very noisy environment. These definitely didn't disappoint! I played some opera music at low volume level (with noise cancel activated) and got on with my work. After ten mins, it struck me that the place was very quiet and wondered why nobody was talking or typing, then took them off and realised just how effective they were. You can still hear people who have deep or loud voices but drowns out 75% of everyday noise and it''s been a lifesaver for me. Sound quality-wise, also outstanding. I picked up on little bits of songs that I'd never noticed before, bass tones are rich and the headphones can be extremely loud also. The battery generally lasts a few days, which is positive. They're comfortable to wear and not at all heavy, though have a premium 'feel' to them. Only small thing is that I imagine (and haven't tested this yet) is that the microphone for making calls is probably quite ineffective because there's no directional mic (no protruding flexible mouthpiece and built into the earpiece instead). I could be completely wrong though as haven't ever tried this, just imagine it will probably pick up background noise for the person on the other end. If you're thinking about it, just go for it. Fantastic investment for £50 odd.

For £60, I expected much better. I'm no audiophile but I know good sound when I hear it, and this pair of headphones failed to perform. Both lows and highs are muffled and muddy with extremely poor clarity across the spectrum. I tried rock, punk, metal, classical, musicals, pop, and electronic music and they didn't impress on any genre. It's possible that I was unlucky and received a dud pair but I'm not willing to try a replacement as they were so disappointing, through both the aux cable and Bluetooth. The box and instructions have a number of spelling mistakes and poor grammar, along with a hotmail email address, which didn't inspire much confidence from the outset and made them look cheap. They look nice and are very comfortable and easy to use but to me this doesn't make up for the dreadful sound. Back to Amazon they go!

Have been using these headphones for around two weeks now and overall im pretty pleased with the purchase. They look and feel quite nice,the matte black looks great,although can show up finger prints if you look closely. The build quality seems to be decent and the headphones themselves are fairly comfortable to wear for long periods of time as they are lightweight and fit around the ears well. The only real critisim i have regarding the build is that the headphones could be alittle tighter fitting, although this is probably more to do with my head than the headphones themselves.The power,volume and usb controls are all in easy to reach places. Accessories included in box are: usb cable,storage case,usb charging lead,a headphone jack spliter and a 3.5mm cable. The actual sound quality for me is more than adequate for both TV and music.Bass,trebel and voice/vocal can all be heard loud and clear and that is all i can really say about the sound quality! So far the battery life has been impressive,with about 40hrs + on a single charge (with noise reduction off). Pairing the headphones with my devices has generally been pain free,however i have had some instances of the signal breaking up and disconnecting (more so with my iPhone than android devices),however this is usually remedied by some classic "turn on turn off" troubleshooting. The range on the headphones is reasonable enough,i can walk around my whole flat with no issue. In terms of noise cancellation the headphones do a pretty impressive job of passive noise cancellation(the headphones physically blocking out noise from entering your ear). The active noise cancellation is, to be honest, a bit of a let down and doesnt really make too much of a difference either way. Perhaps i was expecting too much from the technology,but it is reassuring that the passive cancellation is so great. In conclusion up to this point i would totally recommend these headphones to anyone looking for budget(ish) wireless headphones.Just dont expect too much from the active noise cancelling feature.

Great noise cancelling headphones which really work! The product comes in a neat boxs in its own traveling case. The headphones are well known and feel so light and comfortable on your head. Easy to pair to your phone and once done, eveytime you turn it on its pairs instantly! Great bit of tech with no major issues. The one issue I had was that if you paired it to a pc and then you want to connect it to your phone you have to disable the pc Bluetooth and then redo the pairing process for the phone. Besides from that small issue which isn't a big deal, theses are great! Finally, sound quality isn't as good as £300+ headphones however it's not far behind and for only £60 this is a really good deal. A must buy!
