Yes the UK plug is actually on the back of the charger, built in. So no lead. It's a great charger from a reputable manufacturer.

Does it discharge aswell, if not how do u fully discharge the batteries, as I believe it is best 2 charge/discharge 3 times b4 use. R batteries NiMh

The charger is approx 12x8 cm and 5cm deep with a 3pin plud attached. It does not discharge,regards

Quick question: Does the unit have strong springs needing to be pulled back to fit batteries in? Current 1 needs lots of effort to pull the -ve griper

Actually I find the batteries quite stiff to take out, and find that effort is needed. However, it doesn't detract from the usefulness.
