Would this be overkill for an 8ft swimming/ paddling pool? If so what other options would you suggest please

No, it is very useful as a starter kit to get you used to using the different chemicals required. We have a 10ft paddling pool. It lasts about 6 to 8 weeks so you will need to order another kit later, or do as we did and just order the chlorine granules and algaecide in larger quantities separately from a supplier. You really don't need to use test strip everyday once your pool is in top clean condition, we test once a week after a couple of weeks of routine chemical treatment. Hope this helps.

We have an 8' above ground plastic pool and the cleaner kit Is perfect. All chemicals and test strips included

I have a bestway 15 ft pool, would this be enough for that?

We have a 12ft pool and it's ample so I think it will be fine .

do you need a dispenser to use these chemicals or are they suitable to be used as they come in a 10ft inflatable pool with a filter? thanks

Hey Sophie B - no dispenser required. Test the water with the included paper strips - depending on the colour each section of the strip goes, add the relevant chemical (straight to the water) and then pray you don't have hale stones, as we did in the South Wales valleys earlier today...
