The Swiss Army Knife of scissors
Sharp, strong, effective and at a decent price; a great pair of scissors by Victorinox 👍🏻

Brilliantly useful
These are really good scissors for the kitchen or anywhere really!I use them to cut meat, bacon, cheese on toast, pizza, bread into squares of strips, some veg like cabbage and tender stem broccoli as long as it’s not too hard. You can also use them for normal things like cutting paper or card . I’ve got Theo pairs they are great.

If Scissors Could Be Impressive...
I just realised, as I was about to buy a new pair, that these fab scissors lasted for eleven years until I abused them by trying to cut some utterly inappropriate metal items (its an age thing). So you could say these last for ages and remain sharp until you get stupid with them.

Quality lightweight acissors
Quality as expected forr the illustrious brand. Light weight so easy to hold but plastic handle has a quality feel. These scissors are really sharp and retain edge well. Can be sharpened and have a real nut and bolt at the pivot so can be tightened if necessary, instead of a rivet as is often uses in cheaper scissors.I dislike the packaging which includes a printed cardboard backing sheet within a totally sealed and unnecessary plastic hanging pack which only contributes to pollution and doesn’t permit feel ming or testing before committing to buy.

Super sharp easy cut.
Very well engineered scissor. Plastic handles are not so nice but it keeps the price down (less high quality steel wasted). 55 Rockwell is close to high carbon steel hardness so it should hold an edge for a long time. At a push they would be easy to separate and resharpen if required. A Lifetime of use I’d say.

Cut well, but rust spots
I bought Victorinox as swear by their knives and won't buy any other brand for sharpness and durability. However, these scissors cut well but have very quickly developed spots of rust. Very disappointed in Victorinox as this is the first pair that's ever happened to .. and I have many pairs of cheap scissors!

BUY THE BEST AND KNOW YOU POSSESS SOMETHING WORTH HAVING
I ordered these all-purpose scissors along with a new pair of Victorinox kitchen scissors because a neighbour borrowed the old pair of kitchen scissors, then claimed to have lost them, presenting me with some cheapo-cheapo supermarket branded rubbish to replace them. I just can't see the point of having rubbish scissors as they easily get blunt due to the poor quality metal they are made of. However, I regard Victorinox scissors in the same way that I regard the quality tools I've chosen to keep in my tool shed. These scissors are made from a higher quality grade of tempered steel which enables them to actually be sharper and to remain that way for a whole lot longer. I have been a fan of 'Victorinox' products ever since I was a young teenager. proudly owning one of their brilliant pulti-purpose 'Swiss Army' clasp knives. Nothing beats them and ( probably ) nothing ever will. I know I am buying something of quality when I buy these scissors so I don't mind paying a little extra, being confident that they will last at least 4 or 5 times longer than the more cheaply manufactured equivalents. But don't lend them out as they can fall foul of never being seen again.Eamonn
