Needed a new TV Aerial as all the tv's in the house were struggling with poor signal, Didn't fancy forking out for a new roof Aerial so took a gamble on the SLx Digidome after reading the reviews. I was originally going to mount it outside but thought i'd try it in the loft first as some other reviewers said it works fine in the loft. The install was super easy, whole job took about 30mins. After Re-tuning the downstairs tv i was totally surprised to find i had more channels than ever. All were great quality with no pixelation. I don't normally write reviews but felt this Aerial exceeded my expectations so deserved one.

Sceptical at first. Bought so called ‘great reception, HD, Freeview’ aerials before for internal use and had a very broken picture and we are not far from a transmitter. Set up in the loft until I can get a long ladder to have it externally. Had a bit of trouble getting the connectors onto the ends of the coax as never done it before but did OK. Screwed the bracket to an upright and downloaded a transmitter finder on my iPhone (99p). Plugged everything in and came down from the loft. Not easy to get in and out of the loft as very cramped and no standing room so I hate going up there. Seemed fine at first but then the dreaded pixel break up started. Had enough but realised the next day I had forgotten to check for the red light. It was off and realised others have had this problem. As I pulled back the rubber cover I noticed that the connector had come away. Re-screwed it back on, a lot tighter this time and plugged it back in and VOILA! Red light came on so it’s worth going back to the connectors and maybe cut them off and start again. Everything you need is in the box apart from a transmitter finder although if you are outdoors you can simply point in in the same direction as other aerials you can see. I struggle with DIY and found this no problem to install although it maybe more of a challenge putting it up outside onto brick on a ladder. My picture on all channels is great and may well leave it in the loft. It’s a shame it only has one outlet to the TV as we have TVs in other rooms so will buy a splitter. Not sure if a booster one will work alongside the one that came with the product but will update this later ( I only put it up yesterday).

It works well, but I was extremely annoyed that it was sold to me a new, but clearly had been previously sold giving the state of the box and the previous returns label torn off the box! Otherwise, this little beast works wonders!

Our coax cable from the original aerial on the roof was faulty and I didn't fancy climbing on the roof or paying hundreds for someone to replace it so I thought I'd give this a try. I fitted it under the facia on the back corner of the house and ran a new coax to the TV location. The signal is excellent with 100% showing on strength and quality across all HD channels which we've never had before on the old aerial. Highly recommended.

The item, purchased via my prime account arrived without issue. Upon opening the box and checking contents all was in order. Note, you will need additional connections or a cable to run from the supplied booster to your tv. The item required minimal assembly. The item came with sufficient coaxial cable and connections, which required fitting, but this was easy to do using my leatherman, which has pliers and a sharp blade required to trim the coaxial cable. Once assembled, it was a case of fixing the antenna to an outside wall using a drill, 10mm masonry drill bit and the supplied wall plugs and screws. Power is supplied via the coaxial cable, which runs from the antenna to a supplied a/c booster inside the property. Once plugged in I checked that the antenna was receiving power (indicator light on the antenna was illuminated red) and went ahead and connected the inside coaxial to my tv. Note, you will need your own antenna/ coaxial cable, the kit provided does not contain additional connectors to make up a feed from the booster to your tv. Therefore if you haven’t got one already, you will need to buy one for install. The antenna performed well in my area. Picking up a number of freeview tv and radio stations. This was a good and cheap alternative to other options. With regards to quality, time will tell. Overall very satisfied.

Not very strong signal and had to go back to aerial on my chimney

The TV in my living room has for a couple of years only been able to receive a signal via the internet. Firstly Virginmedia and latterly from Sky. This has been all well and good, but in a bid to reduce costs overall, I wanted to get Freeview into the this TV. No separate box was needed as the TV has Freeview built in. Because my attic is now a room, putting an aerial up there was out of the question, so I had to find something that didn't look too obtrusive on the front of the house and this one appeared to fit the bill. I connected it up initially and just hung it out of the window to see if it would pick up a signal. As I expected it picked up the repeater transmitter a coupe of miles away which only has a few channels available. When I connected in the amplifier, this went up to around 90 channels all together. I thought that would do so went ahead and fitted it to the house wall a couple of feet under the eaves. After retuning, I suddenly had access to 192 channels which included all the channels I'll ever want to watch and many I very much doubt I ever will. The aerial was able to pick up the main transmitter which is about 15 miles away thus giving me all these extra channels. All the channels have a decent signal strength and no pixellation is present. For the price I paid, this aerial has covered all of requirements. It gets a decent signal, lots of Freeview channels and it doesn't look awful on the front of the house. If this aerial doesn't pick up a signal wherever you are in the UK, then I'd guess you're going to need some pretty specialised aerials to get one.

I dis-liked the fact you need to crimp the connectors; they could have been crimped ready for installation.

Je l’ai reçu et essayé à l’intérieur de la maison pour voir son efficacité et ça fonctionne. Je vais pouvoir installer sur le toit. Plus jolie que l’ancienne antenne râteau. Penser à acheter un adaptateur pour la prise électrique de l’ampli (c’est une prise anglaise).

Just moved into new appartment and couldn't get a TV Signal on my previous aerial. So, I purchased this outdoor aerial from Amazon, and the results were amazing!! It worked indoors, so didn't need to place it outdoors! Now I'm getting all the free Irish channels, plus SKY news from the UK. This aerial Rocks baby.
