Not very sturdy

This arrived as a heap of wood with pre-drilled holes and some screws. I am not sure what I expected really - but I received 2 embossed end pieces and 9 slats, enough screws to assemble with 1 to spare, and a teeny tiny allan key. Assembly was not too difficult and took me about 20 minutes. One of the slat ends did not fully tighten on before the thread ran, not sure why - it sits about a millimetre away from where it should - it is completely unnoticeable except to me, and I was pretty annoyed about it after all that work.Overall I am pretty happy with it.Despite this I really like the rustic look of the crate - it fits the rest of my room decor.I filled it with LPs, leaving enough of a gap for a satisfying flip through and then I looked at it and though 'that is never 100 records', so i counted them.... it turns out I had 147 in there! I was just able to lift it and the slats held securely. It is pretty robust.Overall I am pretty happy with this.

Just received this item and I am very pleased with it. Simple to construct and included allen key for screws. Perfect.
