I used the wire to clean up a sadly neglected, stained and mildewed picnic table. It didn't take much effort to restore it to its former glory. It did a good job.

What can l say three grades of Steel wool fine, Medium and rougher than the other two 🥴 convent as they are brillo pad size pieces of the difference grades so no trying to tear off a convenient sized piece off a big wad of steel wool. These are perfect for my needs ans saved me having to buy three big wads of different grades

Like the 3 different grades of steel wool, and with fewer Hardwear shops around where I live, this was very convenient for me . This is what I use to clean my gardening tools with. Keeps tools sharp.

I wanted to rodent proof an area outside; below the fascia boards and above the existing mortar level. A few gaps could allow rodent access to loft space but it's tricky to fill effectively with mortar or filler. Stuffing the gap with steel wool is relatively easy as it can be packed tight and rodents don't like it. It's easy to work with and these bags are very inexpensive. I paid a similar price in a local hardware shop for half the quantity and the bag only had one grade. The wool itself is exactly as expected and would be great for conventional jobs too.

Good to have a mix of grades of wool.

We had a really bad mouse problem, treated with pellets by the local authority for around a year. We've now plugged every hole we can find with this product and the issue has virtually disappeared (we think there's a hole behind the washing machine... going to deal with it this weekend!). We have gone from visible infestation - droppings in the kitchen, mice running around the kitchen and bathroom (often launching themselves off the kitchen counter and skidding around the floor looking for an exit!), and books being peed on, not pleasant! - to a house where we no longer have to worry. We'll still continue with the disinfectant wipes to ensure those unseen puddles of pee aren't a problem... but seriously good stuff!
