THAKKERSoft Brush - Antistatic Record Brush with velvet Pad incl. needle Brush

This is a very easy way of cleaning one's vinyls before each play. It removes that inevitable bit of dust ubiquitous to all vinyl records, and helps a bit with the static too. I do believe in washing my records, but in between washes, this is just the thing.*** A quick note: The little brush (that looks like a miniature toothbrush) is NOT for cleaning your stylus (see my review of Thakker Stylus Brush  Thakker Stylus Brush Professional carbon fibre stylus cleaning brush ).The little "toothbrush" that comes with the velvet brush is used for brushing fluff from the velvet after cleaning a vinyl. Brush the velvet surface in long, even strokes in the same direction.

Bought this for my dad for Fathers day, well packaged, works like a charm he couldnt be happier! I spend the day moving old records down from the attic and dusting them off, amazing value for money

Decent enough performance, personally I prefer velvet cleaners like this than carbon bristle only varieties. The Thakker name adds unjustifiable cost however.

I have just got back into vinyl and decided to spend a little time also thinking about how I would take care of it. It did take quite a lot or reseach find a brush that also came with what looked to be a decent cover, as on reading reviews I had seen a few other brands with negative feedback. Glad I stuck it out and invested time finding this, with it's plush velvet and robust plastic cover. I even love the box it came in and actually have kept it in that. Great product.

A simple idea which is still working perfectly :) the packaging hasn't changed either. This and my David Bowie vinyls make me feel young again - I wish ;) Super buy though. Highly recommended!

Old school felt record cleaner, replete with holes in the top to spang some cleaning fluid in! Handy hint - make your own fluid (distilled water, isopropyl alcohol, and a bit of Kodak water wetter - Google it, there's loads of recipes) and save a mint. Also good in a Disco Anti Stat, btw. This thing picks up the surface dust just as it should. Smart.

Arrived quickly safely, within three days, as promised. Looks and feels like the great product i had, back in 1974! Plastic cover and base that probably won't take a lot of abuse but then, who abuses their vinyl? Take care using the brush on delicate pick-up heads and also with the tray thingy it sits in! Not built for any level of abuse! Paired up with a purpose-made fluid from Lincs Products, similar to what I used, way back when. Great results from the velvet material and allow the fluid to dry before playing the record !
