KitchenCraft BBQ/Stovetop Smoker Oven, BBQ smoker, 37.5 x 27 cm, Silver

Really pleased with the quality and ease of use. It fits on top of my bbq perfectly. Its ideal for thin cuts of food like fish, chips and chicken fillets. It would not take anything too thick. You can really taste the flavour from the smoke chips. One added benefit was that it stops any fat going into my bbq so the bbq stays clean. I just soak the smoker with a dishwasher tablet and it comes up shinning again. I am sure I will get lot of use over the summer and on camping trips.

I used this yesterday to smoke some salmon fillets for dinner, with really good results: basic cure from a GBC recipe, scraps from the log basket soaked in apple juice, timing from Jamie Oliver; boom. The lid on mine is fine, but maybe they react badly in the presence of chauvinism and an Aga - couldn't say for sure.

Had two of these from Amazon - I returned both due to poorly fitting lids, one warped, the other simply a bad fit. Didn't even try to use as it was obvious that despite the idea that you could smoke indoors on a hob, each would leak smoke around the lid.

Amazing product, bribed my salmon overnight in sugar/salt water solution, left it on the rack in the fridge for 2hrs then smoked it for 20mins, juicy, tasty, amazing, happy customer

Son in law’s Christmas present arrived in time and is appreciated! I’ve yet to sample it’s delights as we live abroad.

As the lid was wzrped it was extremely difficult to get the clips to engage properly. As the company is based in Birmingham, an industrial city, I assumed it was made here in the UK. Foolish me! It was made in India. I believe that they have different standards there. Having bought Indian potts and pans in the past and found lots of little faults (ill fitting lids, badly finished handles etc.) I assume that such defects are acceptable to them. However, UK product standards should be much higher and things should be made to our standards. It works as a cooking tool, but the smoke leaked considerably. Luckily our extractor above the Aga works very well. In the roasting oven there is no problem as it's vented to the flu.

Nice big box.Still think it’s expensive at £41 for what it is although £25 dearer on another kitchenware site.Unfortunately arrived with one of the clips broken,can’t give 4 or 5 stars because of this.The recipe /instruction slip that came with it is difficult to read due to very small print and only one recipe is abit mean.Now I am awaiting a book on smoking,so will see
