Good sound quality
Have had it for a while and works a treat. A simple good quality microphone that lets you easily record better sound from your camera.

Fair Sound Quality for a Lapel Mic
I'm quite used to hearing premium microphones so I didn't buy this mic with too high an expectation. i had heard it on someone else review video though and was quite impressed. The mic is quite fragile but they all are. Good to see two spare cover included. The clip holds well and it looks the part. The adapter cables are a welcomed addition. Nice carry case. The mic sounds better than the internal mic of my iPad which I'm using it on. Proximity effect leads to distortion however, so you need to ensure that it isn't clipped too close to your mouth. I looked down and spoke at one point (in my video) and it distorted since my mouth become closer. I'm pleased with the mic overall and it's definitely worth the price paid.

A Good Value Microphone
No problems encountered using this microphone, plenty of options available with supplied adapters.

Generally OK quality, but missing an item from the packaging.
Bought this to do some basic audio work that I didn't want to dig out my XLR mic for. For just shy of £16 I wasn't expecting much in terms of quality to be honest but hoped it might just meet my needs. Small box with mic and fixed cable, an additional cable and 3 windshields one of which is red. You're supposed to also get a straight plug however mine didn't come with that. Ultimately the mic worked for me without this plug however QC is everything and if you're shipping items with missing parts then people are going to be annoyed if they can't get it working so dropping 2 stars for this. In terms of quality, it's generally good obviously not as good as a professional mic but for the price it's not too bad. If you have to use the additional cable then make sure you click them together fully, when you think it's connected give it one more push. I didn't initially and the sound was a little warbled! If you have found this review helpful, please let me know by hitting the “helpful” button! or if you have any questions then feel free to ask :)

Bought 2, both stopped working after a few months of use
When I first bought this, it was a really useful bit of kit - allowing me to make calls, recordings etc really well and gave decent sound for the price. However, after a few months of use, the mic just stopped working in the middle of an important call which was embarrassing. I tried all sorts with it but could not get it to work. I bought another one with the hope that it was just a faulty piece but after even less time, the second mic stopped working completely too and it had just gone past the one month period so couldn't even return it. I tried it out with various computers, phones etc to make sure it was the mic and not the sound card/jack etc but it was definitely the microphone. I guess you get what you pay for. It has a lot of positive reviews, likely from people who had just bought it but I would recommend to stay away and invest a bit more in a higher quality item!

Underdog: better than Purple Panda
The audio quality on this is fantastic! For reference I'm comparing to my larger desk microphone, the Neewer NW-800 USB, and another Lavalier mic the Purple Panda (around 2x more expensive). This microphone is great for podcasting, screen recordings, and audio/video calls on the go. Audio wise it captures my voice in a deeper and smoother tone than with standard microphones from your MacBooks and iPhones, almost like radio. It's consistent whether I have it in front of my face, or at mid-chest level. I couldn't detect any tinny sounds, and noise/cable muffling is at a minimum. No static found whatsoever. Best value for money, and underrated gem!

Amazing value for money
For the price this is brilliant, I’ve used it for a range of videos and the quality is great. If you’re currently filming on a smart phone or camera but on a budget give this a go as it will likely do 99% of what you need. Obviously the quality isn’t as high as a more expensive mic, but it’s not far off and very noticeable. The pack comes with a range of adaptors too, just be wary that the wire isn’t incredibly long (not a problem if you’re filming someone in front of the camera though)

Plug in options make sure it works satisfactorily
The Gyvazla mono clip-on microphone, wired as CTIA, works well enough when securely clipped to a lapel, with not too much sibilance and yet allowing clear balanced speech. It has significantly more output than several headset+mic combinations I've tried recently, so the PCs had gain in hand instead of struggling. At 1.67m long the lead is a bit long for connection to a recorder in a pocket or a bit short going to a desktop PC, but one can work around these minor problems using small velcro cable tidies or extension leads. It connected perfectly with my laptop, and the optional extra plug-in parts guarantee one can overcome a desktop PC’s excess of helpfulness in insisting on different pin connections for the solo microphone compared with a headset. The slim TRRS extender also reverses the Microphone and Ground connection from CTIA on this microphone to OMTP for the older equipment. CTIA has connections Tip Left, Ring Right, Ring Ground, Sleeve Microphone. OMTP has connections Tip Left, Ring Right, Ring Microphone, Sleeve Ground. The right angle TRS adaptor lead converts the CTIA mono microphone to stereo Tip Left Microphone, Ring Right Microphone, Sleeve Ground. Yet another useful lead is this combiner to allow the mic and TRS adaptor to be used with high quality stereo earpieces or headphones instead of the poor quality combo sets usually available. It is also worth having some control in the PC’s input audio processing to clean up movement and handling noises.

small, discrete and surprisingly clear for how cheap this mic was. The cable is a bit jank. the important thing about microphones is that sound follows the inverse square law. You also speak quite directionally. The further away a microphone is, the worse you will sound and the more background noise will be picked up. the closer the mic is to you and the closer it is to the direction you are talking, the better the audio quality. clip on a cheap lapel mic close to your mouth or on the top of your shirt and you will sound SO MUCH BETTER than the audio of your $200 bluetooth earbuds.

I actually bought it to replace my carkit microphone, which it does really really well. Almost cancels noices from the car and people tell me they finally understand what I'am saying. It came with a pretty little bag for protection underway, and a replacement foam bit. Also a few dongles for stereo or mono, in a 90° corner or straightforward. Thanks!
