I have had long term medical issues for a number of years which have had an impact on my mobility and have started sports therapy. In addition, I destroyed my foot arch a few years back which has never really recovered so I've been to a podiatrist too (yay, orthopaedic insoles...) - both recommended I used a wobble/balance to help strengthen my legs. I selected this one because it looked sturdy, aesthetically pleasing...and challenging! The first day I was crying with laughter at how bad I was, a week on and I'm already better at using it. I can feel it working my core and definitely the progress of my ankles! The thing that draws me back to it is the fun...because it challenging, the competitive streak kicks in and I simply have to beat it! If I hadn't been banned from doing more than 10 minutes a day at present I'd be on it every chance I get!
