It's states pools but in the description it says jacuzzi??? which is it?? i have a 12ft frame swimming pool is this suitable?if not change your advert

Hi i have brought one of these. I would say it is not suitable for a steel frame pool. The pipe connections are far too large and if you can get it to fit then the flow switch needs to be by passed. I would buy the £80 bestway one.

What waterproof ip rating is the unit? does it need protection from the weather?

I’ve draped a rubber cover over it as it’s bolted to the side of my pool.

is this cheaper to run than the intex and bestway heaters that are a cheaper price?

I would not consider buying this heater as it has the BLUE wire as LIVE. I returned mine for a refund.
