handy size
its expensive compared to 1Lr bottles but its a repeat order and seems more diluted in taste too - I like having one in my bag tho - plain water gets boring

The mass-manufactured ice tea to rule them all
As far as real iced tea goes, this simply doesn't compare. It's like comparing a fast-food burger to a real handmade Aberdeen Angus. There's not a lot of choice out there when it comes to bottled iced tea so it's unsurprising that Lipton is at the forefront. To it's credit, it is pleasant tasting though slightly too sugary and not quite as 'fruity' as I hoped. It's been a long time since I tried it but I'm positive the UK version tastes far inferior to what is available in France, which is a shame. The UK also seems to have less choice - where's the mixed berry iced tea that's available in many European countries? It's by far the best tasting of the lot.Still, as far as the Lemon one goes it's a very pleasant drink but serving it cold really is a must. During summer I would recommend three bottles in a large pitcher, add half a cup of water to dilute it a little, add 2-3 handfuls of mixed chopped fruit (stick to berries)

glorious summer days
Lipton's lemon flavoured iced tea became my drink of choice when working abroad a few years ago: i would take my chilled iced tea, sit in the shade during hot afternoons and watch the world go by. (There is something about tea that gives you an excuse to take things a bit easier for a few minutes). These memories stayed with me ever since. I bought this on a bit of a whim, unsure if my memories had played me false. They hadn't. Sipping what can only be described as a delicious and refreshing chilled lemon iced tea in my garden on a summer's sunny afternoon not only brought my memories back to life but reminded me what a great drink this really is.Buy it but remember to serve well chilled as it does imrove the taste dramatically.I'm going to have to buy some more soon as buying 12 bottles is beginning to look a bit stingy.
