How long these last for?

It depends, if you leave them in a manky pair of boots not long. If you take them out and dry them from time to time, they last longer. They are brilliant, smell good and look after your boots. Have had 1st pair for over 6 months and they are starting to fade

I have a brand new pair of leather boots that smell bad because of the tanning process, would these work and would they affect the leather? Thanks

I haven't had any issues with new shoe smell myself so cant be 100% but I would expect they would help and the leather would be fine. I have used on leather shoes, hundreds of times.

Will these get rid of the horrific cat piss smell coming from my fairly new north face boots?

I’d not expect these to get rid of the cat piss smell. If there’s cat puss smell, I assume you have a cat that doesn’t like you much? Anywho, you need to clean the shoes using cat piss destroyer. Something with the enzymes to actually destroy the proteins in the cat’s urine (or any bodily liquids), enzyme cleaner is your best bet. Maybe search up enzyme shoe cleaner? From what I know 3% hydrogen peroxide would do it. But literally Google - “how to destroy cats urine smell” / “enzyme cleaner for urine smell”. Good luck, mate.
