After buying GS's larger plant pots for lettuce, etc., I bought these for single plant care and currently have some papaya seedlings growing in them that I sprouted from seed. These pots easily keep the soil evenly moist and keep me alerted to when the reservoirs need refilling. So easy to assemble and so clean to maintain, that I will buy another set for my growing greenhouse collections. They are super easy to move between the greenhouse and my basement growing table, too. Right now I have 2 of these pots sitting near my gas fireplace where they will stay warm enough to propagate sweet potato slips but not too warm to harm the pots. I love the clean structure of the pots but you do have to be careful when refilling them so that you neither overfill the reservoir or spill water onto nearby surfaces, which is why they are more suitable to the greenhouse, IMHO. Regardless, I highly recommend these wonderful plant containers.

My alocasia pollys are thriving! So easy to keep the soil just right for these sensitive little babies. When in doubt, I can pull the plant out and check the roots and the soil at the bottom of the pot. Love these want them in all of the sizes!

I've been repotting my anthuriums and philodendrons into Lechuza Pon and these self-watering pots work well for semi-hydro planting. The problem with them is that the water level indicator sticks and unless I lift the inner pot out to check the water level, I don't really know if it needs refilling. A work around is to also pull the indicator out and drop it back into its slot to unstick it. I just find it inconvenient.

My Ivy is loving this pot! It provides the correct amount of water at the right time. The plant is thriving in it. This pot is the perfect pot if your someone who over waters or forgets to water your house plants. This keeps the soil wet as the plant prefers. If you have plants that do not like there "feet wet" try this pot! Just know that this comes with a set of six pots, not just one. Instructions, who needs them, LOL. If you have some "do it yourself" experience and can following the simplest directions to assemble it together with simple common sense, then assembly will be a breeze. They are that easy to follow, and how to use the pot takes just the same amount of common sense. It's so easy! Thank you.

These pots are great for orchids and I like that I got 3 at a very reasonable price. I divided an existing orchid in to two of the pots and I have a spare for one that I'm rooting.

Nice size and like the water monitor

I've been using these for my anthurium and alocasia collections with pon. These have worked perfectly and the plants are so happy. The only cons are that the top portion are hard to lift when I need to check the roots. It would be nice if these had a small lip on the sides to be able to seperate and lift easier. Also, the water indicators get stuck once in a while, so I just have to spin them to loosen the inner bobber indicator, then they accurately show me how much water is in the pot.

I have several of these in different sizes and use them for transplanting herbs from my hydroponic gardens. The center of the insert fits a root ball so well and they get a little more water starting out too. Plants do really well in these!

Llegaron muy rápido y en perfecto estado. Son de buena calidad, me parecen adecuadas para tenerlas dentro de casa por su bonito acabado, las ocupe para sembrar violetas africanas, pero permiten plantas un poco más grandes. Por ser de autorriego se facilita el cuidado y se ahorra tiempo. Adicionalmente el paquete incluyo una palita muy útil para sembrar las plantas.
