KANDYTOYS Large Dinosaur Hatch Egg

Slightly disappointing. It caused a lot of interest when it was first introduced and very inventive predictions as to what might hatch out of it...I sadly turned down one child's offer to sit on it for the rest of the day! When it was eventually put into water there was great excitement, which unfortunately dissipated as it failed to 'hatch' from its egg. In the end the egg had to be manually cracked open, only to find that the base of the dinosaur was still stuck to the base of the egg. Having pulled off as much as possible there was still a reluctant piece which refused to budge , unfortunately situated under the tail. As one child put it, "It looks as if it's have a poo." Not the type of awe and wonder I was hoping to create.

Bought this for my 5 yr old grandson, well it did grow like expected in water , but a week later we found it left out in garden and it had been raining ! Huge 🤣I pud think believe this was same dinosaur. He was so happy .A good find I wound recommend this for value for money

These were stocking fillers. For the first few days they were played with as eggs and treasured, decorated and the growing anticipated. Then we came home and put them in water as per the instructions. However they didn't manage to hatch on their own and had to be helped out of their shells. Now they have grown but not as much as the illustrations would indicate. So a mixed result but generally positive.

Although the egg cracked it didn't hatch within time frame specified so I ended up pulling egg apart when my son wasn't looking as we were getting bored of waiting! The dinosaur is ugly but did grow and grow in water. It did shrink back when taken out of water. Product fine for cheap cost. Seemed to amuse my 4 year old.

This is not a large egg as described. It is very small. I would send it back but I need it for a school project for Monday. I’m very disappointed considering the price!!!!

Got these delivered today ready to teach a dinosaur topic to my class in the new year. I opened the package and was shocked to see the eggs were completely ruined. No ‘be gentle’ warning on the envelope either. I am requesting a refund.

Delivered well packaged and on time. The egg was as described but when it hatched (with a little bit of help!) the dinasaur itself was disappointing as it didn't grow despite us following the instructions. The kids however loved following the egg cracking and dinasaur emerging!

The egg cracked really quickly once in water and the dinosaur within didn't really "grow". It was difficult to detach the dinosaur from the remainder of the egg and it left a large unsightly bit of plastic on the toy itself which took away from the overall look of the toy. I was disappointed; the kids even more so :-(
