This is a very well-made tool. It is easy to use and makes short work of those occasional projects requiring grommets.

It aids the process of making holes and attaching grommets to one tool making it easier and faster. A great tool!

The tool itself is good quality and having two die sizes makes it more flexible than most; however, the unpolished aluminum grommets included with it aren't really appropriate for any fashion application (unless you're going for an industrial look).

I have had this for four months now and I have something to say.First, I read through the other reviews. Some of the negative ones were ignorant. VERY ignorant. The instructions I got with mine as well as the listing are clear that this is not meant for fabrics. People saying, "Wow, this doesn't work at all for fabrics," are right... but it was not advertised for those things. Can it work for them? Yep, but you need to punch a hole first.What this does work fantastic for is plastics and paper. I first used it to put a grommet in the bag the tool came in. That gave me the idea to use it on ZipLoc bags and hang them on pegboard for sorting things. Works great. What you might want to use these most for is tarps. You can make your own or repair ones you already have. You can use different materials if you want. You can make specially shaped tarps for grills, outdoor furniture, tractors, mowers, etc. I made a perfect-sized tarp to go over a generator I keep in the garage. Keeps the dust and bugs off of it.In my pictures, you can see that the tool is VERY well built and sturdy. I had no trouble using it. If you plan on using string, twine, or small hooks, get the 6mm grommets. I got the one for 10mm as that's more appropriate for parachute cord and bungee cords. Enjoy!

I originally purchased a grommet set that you have to hammer in order to get the grommet to work for my crochet top. It didn't. And I wasted a LOT of pieces trying to make it happen. This tool got the job done in a FRACTION of the time, and didn't require any loud hammering. The grommet size 6mm was a little larger than the first set I bought, and it made a huge difference! The tool aligned perfectly with my crochet piece, and I am so glad I decided to try this one out.

Easy to use, Works perfectcons grommets that are supplied are not stainless they rust, not for outdoor use

I use this tool to put grommets into my 4 inch mil sheeting that I use to cover my trees in the winter. The press is easy to use and it comes with a lot of grommets. Good tool, does the job!

I have found many uses for these grommets. Easy to install and tool works well.
