Does this make a lot of noise?

Only as much as a kettle iirc. I returned mine as it doesn't boil water to 100°C but to 95°C which makes a cup of tea taste awful! I've bought the more expensive one that filters the water to and can deliver at several temps including 0°C (drinking water, filtered) to 100°C

Does this model heat the water internally in a resivour and then dispense or does it dispense and heat simultaneously like a hot tap?

You have a resovior of water which heats 250ml mil of water when you turn it on and dispenses it to a mug. I find it good as the it only heats the water you dispense and because the amount of water stored is not enormous you don't have water standing waiting to be heated for long.

Coffee should not be made with boiling water, can this deal with this ?

It is a bit below boiling temperature. The wattage used is the same as a kettle, but only heating a cupful at a time, is on for a shorter time. It does not hold a lot of water. Maybe 5 or 6 cups, and then needs filling again.

The description says 100 volts. Does this work in the UK at 240 volts?
