I have purchased this a few times as I often use it in my workshop. I also used it on a black (but faded in the sunlight) plastic soil pipe. Looks like new! Easy to apply, goes on uniformly and gives an even Matt finish.

Primer works well but it was a darker red than shown in the picture, so be careful when matching to your car colour. Wasn't too bad as I went over with the right colour but it took much more to cover it than originally planned.

These cans are incredible for applying both a base coat or a final coat on plastic models. I use this for a final coat on keyboard fidget toys that I make and have only had happy customers! Has a lovely smooth matt finish, would highly recommend any Hycote spray paints.

Product is brilliant and went a very long way. Just follow the instructions and add a little. Don't go mad let the coats dry and you will not be disappointed.

This is the 2nd time I've ordered this: the first spraycan had been damaged during postage and the exact same issue has happened again: the lid and nozzle gets crushed during delivery, the security seal is broken, because the packaging is not suitable for the shape of the spraycan. The paint itself is good, hence the 2 stars; it sprays well and covers nicely. But, the delivery and packaging are not appropriate and have resulted in damaged spray cans on both occasions. As much as I like the shade of red and ease of use, I won't buy this brand again as their packaging is not appropriate and results in damaged goods.

I needed a Matt finish red spray, so I bought the red primer as the picture shows a bright red colour on the lid which would have been ideal. However, upon arrival the sticker on the lid looked different to the picture so I tested the spray and it's not the same colour as the advert picture shows, the primer is actually very brown. The coverage is good though so I've bought a can of post office van red instead and hope it's the right colour this time, unfortunately it won't be a Matt finish though.

Colour is more a rusty red but it covered well in 2 coats leaving a smooth finish which only needed minimal sanding before colour coat. Takes colour coat well.
