Perfect for my requirements
I bought the heater to fit in a small wine fermentation/proofing cupboard and it worked a treat. It was able to keep the cupboard at a constant 25 degrees c for the duration of fermentation. The thermostat once set was accurate and at 40w the energy consumption was minimal. Not yet tried it with bread yet but the next job will be to make a sour dough and I'm sure the heater will be absolutely perfect for that. The heater is well made and comes with clear instructions and a pair of fixing brackets, the heater lead is 1.5m and is fitted with a sturdy fused plug. The heater must be mounted horizontally and not come into direct contact with any materials. The fermentation vessel holds 25 litres and the cupboard is under 0.5 m3. If you're looking to heat a room then bear in mind the heater comes as either a 40w or 80w model so work out the your heating requirements to see which heater will be suitable for your needs. If you have a larger space to heat you may need several heaters so do the math and you won't be dissapointed.

Compact little heater.
This is a great little heater. I use it to keep the chill out of the greenhouse and it is perfect for my use. Easy to install, 2 small brackets, long flex and a thermostat knob that's easy to control. Turn it from freezing point to round about 10deg, you will hear it click into action and off you go. Simple and effective but don't expect it to heat a room, it is more for background or supplementary heating.

Very good product
Purchased these for our built in wardrobes as we kept getting mould. Worked a treat.

A cheap way to prevent a room getting too cold.
I purchased this on the advice of a builder friend. Our house is placed dead north/south so the entrance porch tends to suffer from a bit of condensation. We purchased the one foot long one, 30 cm, it has reduced our condensation problem to almost nothing by preventing the porch getting too cold, It might have been better to get the two foot model but it's of little importance. I am now considering geting two of the 2 foot ones for the conservatory to just keep the chill off in the winter. The conservatory has a radiator in but the thermostat is in the lounge so the house can be warm but the conservatory very cold. These are worth every penny if you have a room that you just want to not get too cold. My builder friend has 2 in his garage. They cost the same as a light bulb to run.

Easy fit - that's it - it works great
Easy fit - that's it - it works great. Bought these for plastic skylights I had fitted in a polycarbonate roof. They were very easy to fit (and adapt for the exact use I needed) and work exactly as you would expect - hwever if it rains when it is hot then they do not close the vent but that is to be expected

Alternative method of heating
Product was useless. For all it was worth, it was easier to keep the room warm with my breath!! Be Warned... I wouldn't bother purchasing, if I were you.

Maybe useful in very small areas. Not suitable for our application.
Bought to take the chill off a brick shed for cold winters. Had installed for two winters, switched on and allowed the internal thermostat to govern the heater. If it had an effect it wasn't noticeable for the brick shed where it was installed. Now removed and replaced with a wall heater.

Does what it should
I've had one of the bigger ones of these before. This purchase was of the smallest in the series, to provide a bit of warmth in a confined space. does this perfectly. There are lots of perfectly sensible warnings about not mounting it too close to inflammable surfaces. However, the amount of heat given off is pretty minimal and the outside gets no more than warm. For me the main thing is reliability and safety and I think it has this.
