Pine Tar Shampoo for Seborrheic Dermatitis - 200ml Natural Dandruff Shampoo - Anti Dandruff Shampoo - Psoriasis Shampoo - Treatment Solution for Dry Itchy & Flaky Scalp

I bought this as common shampoo makes my scalp itch and flake due to scalp psoriasis. It works perfectly for what it is for and is the only shampoo I have tried that does not itch and actually helps. Yes, it does have a strong smell and on my first use this did bother me but after following the instructions and rinsing it very well I have found it is no longer an issue to have the smell linger in my hair.

Good quality shampoo for dandruff and seborrheic dermatitis, decent amount for the price, made with natural ingredients. I bought it for my husband and it seems to work well! His hair is shiny, soft and not greasy, without flakes. One drawback though is the smell of barbecue sauce, but it isn’t last long, you can smell it just during showers.

Where do I start. The smell !!!!!! It smells like a creosoted fence during a hot summer. Not great. HOWEVER after 2 hair washes my scalp stopped producing the flaky scaly bits and there was no annoying itch. EXCELLENT So I found that it was worth ignoring the short lived smell and enjoying wearing dark clothes without worrying about the white flakes, because now I don’t have any. GREAT PRODUCT …….. so far ( 5 stars if it smelled better)

I was suffering with some really severe dandruff and itching and tried all the famous names brands, H&S, Neutrogena, Vosene, etc. None of them worked and some of them actually made my condition worse, increased itching and even more flaking. This Milva Pine Tar shampoo has worked for me. It smells like wood smoke but I don't care. I only care that the itching and flakes are finally gone!! I still use my regular conditioner. Highly worth trying!! Large bottle, lots of bubbles, smells strange but not entirely unpleasant!

I bought this as a polytar alternative. It soothes my scalp but is very strong smelling of pine. I can smell pine on my hair after it’s dry too, not overpowering but I’m aware of it. Will go back to polytar when I’ve finished this bottle.

This stuff is great, and is a good replacement for T-Gel, or Polytar. It keeps my scalp clear of psoriasis, and is excellent value for money as you don't need loads. It does have a strong smell when applied, but as long as you rinse well then this isn't an issue. My partner has a very sensitive nose, and would definitely tell me if there was a lingering odour!

I'm 62 and I've suffered with a fungal scalp condition all of my life. I've had had all the medicated shampoos going, so many things off the gp. They all had pros and cons. The only thing that really worked, smelt great, was affordeable and was available over the counter was the Brown T Gel. When I heard they'd now discontinued it I was in despair. I gave the replacement a go and I've wrote to Neutrogena to let them know that NO it does not work. But I doubt they're going to change their decision because of my lack of business. I then scoured amazon for a reolacement product on subscribe and save instead of my beloved T gel and came across this shampoo. Its a couple of pounds more expensive than TGel. Not as thick , so you use more to lather up your hair. But this is compensated by the fact that its a larger bottle so works out over time about the same. The smell is Not Good at all. I thought it smelt like BBQ sauce, hubby said my hair smelt like a bonfire. But to me the most important thing was " Does it work". And for me its an overiding success. The intense itchiness has gone the sores on my scalp have gone. I use conditioner once a week after shampooing to stop my hair from drying out. It doesn't give me that just been washed freshness that I got from Tgel but I can cope with that, and the smell from the reelief on my scalp. I haven't looked at the ingredients. I don't know whether it claims to be a miracle worker. I just know, that when everything on the market has failed ,this one hasn't and hopefully won't be discontinued like a lot of things lately. If like a lot of us regulars who relied on TGel, give this a go. For a tenner a bottle it may work for you. Its now added to my subscribe and save list.

horrible smell, made me feel like i was going to be sick was so strong, smells like burning smoke and didn’t help my scalp. also left smell on my hair after conditioner and hair products used after, 0/10

It leavea no residue, it dont over moisturize hair like all others. Thr hair feels very very natural and does not feel dry. The smell is very noticeable but i like it smells exactly like pine. I hope seller will have a bigger bottle 1 liter or 1 gallon so i can use more. At a value price. I shower twice daily and i have to pump twice on this product to get enough suds and get it down the base of my scalp. Bottle is smaller than expected but i cant complaint the price could be better. I hope they can add tea tree oil so i dont have to buy a seperate product. I reccomend if your head itches i reccomend antifungal shampoo

Habe die plötzlich Psoriasis/ Schuppen entwickelt und es war schrecklich wie es dauernd gejuckt hat. Musste wirklich so viele Produkte kaufen aus der Drogerie und Apotheke aber hat alles nichts geholfen! Dann hat mir Chat ein Produkt mit Teer empfohlen. Es dauert eine Weile bis es wirkt (mindestens 3 Tage dauerhafte Anwendung) aber jetzt ist es deutlich besser! Gott sei Dank... Schlimmster Geruch ever aber dafür kann das Produkt nichts so wie viele hier anscheinend denken. Es ist einfach Teer. Dann kauft eben kein Produkt mit Teer. Ich habe es nur 2h einwirken lassen und danach mit Shampoo ordentlich ausgespült. So komplett wird man den Geruch bei der ersten Wäsche aber trotzdem nicht los. Da muss man schon öfter waschen. Riecht wie als hätte man mehre Tage eine BBQ Party mit anschließendem Lagerfeuer gemacht. Tipp: am besten ein altes Handtuch um die Haare wickeln während es einwirkt. Dann riecht man es nicht mehr so stark. Also wer genauso verzweifelt ist wie ich mit seiner Kopfhaut Situation: Probiert es aus. Nase zu und durch!
