Thought I would wait to write a review until I had used them for at least a year. Am very pleased with this set. I use them all the time for storage, left-overs and baking, and occasionally freezing although i need them all the time so tend not to tie them up in the freezer. I have chipped one of them slightly, so given my heavy usage of them, I would say they are strong glass that withstands impact that occurs in a busy kitchen ( I cook from scratch every day). The lids still seal tightly and are waterproof - I hand wash them and have never put them in a dishwasher. I do not have trouble fitting the lids on as some reviewers found.
