Better than expected great finish and function.

Whilst unboxing, I looked for instructions but none were included. I found an assembly video someone had made online and they didn't have instructions either but had worked it out.Once finally assembled, I went to test it but the focus knob just turned freely and was not moving the gears that move the lens so it would not focus. It had to be boxed back up and returned.Overall I am very disappointed by this product as it has good reviews, maybe I was just unlucky but have decided not to get a replacement and look elsewhere.

Having used these scopes before, my expectations were high. Indeed the scope itself is as good as ever, optics perfect, image depth one of the best on the market. However, I ordered the scope with a double arm boom stand. The quantity of this can only be described as appalling, the tolerance on the arms is so loose it rattles, the locking ring that keeps the scope at given 'Z' hight works so poorly I have had to employ a jubilee clip in order for it to stop creeping down. Service form the supplier although always prompt is not good, poor grasp of the problem and after exchanging numerous emails with pictures and video, have given up getting any help there. All I can say its such a shame that what is such a good product is let down so badly by an important auxiliary element and the bad service of the retailer

Absolutely awful service from the sell - after waiting over a month of countless messages and waiting for them to resolve an issue with they order, they are now refusing to deal with it and don't seem to have even made a real attempt at understanding the problem.We recommend to avoid anything sold by AMScope.

This is the correct microscope for electronics assembly. Unlike mono electronic microscopes, a stereo microscope gives depth of field making assembly much easier. The 0.5 Barlow lens is the perfect compromise between view area and close zoom. You can zoom out to see an entire 100 TQFP package or zoom in to inspect solder joints. The light is excellent, the view is bright, clear, and stable. Please get a taller column so you could place a hot plate under the microscope but that's about all I would change. Note that you must refocus when zooming and using the camera port blocks vision to the left eye, but that's all you are giving up for significant savings.

To start, I think the instructions really suck but, it's not rocket science so I was able to figure everything out.Shipping (Intelcom Express) was terrible, like usual, and the box came smashed up. I was really concerned but luckily the microscope was packed very well.The boom is solid and is a great complement to the microscope. The LED light ring is an absolute must have.The microscope itself is well constructed and is very impressive.Overall, I'm extremely happy with this.

Uno dei migliori sul mercato utilizzato soprattutto per riparazioni elettroniche.Arriva con dotazione di lente 0.5x e 2x.Predisposto ma non è compresa la videocamera.Quando si utilizza la camera si vede da un solo occhio, ha una meccanismo che fa da switch per la visualizzazione sulla videocamera.Il braccio è assolutamente utile ma richiede molto spazio, ha bisogno di uno spazio di lavoro ampio con almeno 80cm liberi di raggio intorno al microscopio.Qualità professionale indiscutibile, materiali perfetti.Arriva in una settimana con imballo molto curato, sicuro è molto pesante.

Das Mikroskop ansich ist super und auch mit der Kamera gut zu nutzen. Eine parralle Nutzung von Kamera und den Okularen ist nicht möglich da bei Nutzung der Kamera durch einen Mechanismus das linke Okular abgeschaltet wird. Dafür ist aber die Ausleuchtung absolut top. Lediglich der billige Plastikadapterring für die Montierung der LED's ist dermaßen schlecht dass bei leichten anstoßen direkt der LED Ring abfällt. Hier empfielt sich der Kauf eines Adapterrings aus Alu oder ähnlichem. Damit hält es super.
