This may help you!
I purchased the Lenovo USI Pen 2 (magnetic) after I first purchased just the non-magnetic USI Pen 2 from a tech store for my new Lenovo Chromebook Duet 11" which is the same stylus sold as an alternate here. The magnetic one is designed for this tablet and fits in the case's slot and magnetizes really well. The one I purchased from a store, does not magnetize to the tablet. So if you have a Lenovo Chromebook like mine, get the magnetic one. The stylus works great and writes very smooth. It takes a AAAA battery (comes with one in the pen), so no charging necessary. Also, you can just use it straight out of the box, no bluetooth pairing needed. I've included photos and a video to show the difference between the pens.

Great Stylus w/Caveats
***************************************UPDATE 6/20/22******************************************** It's been a month of using this stylus and I'm still enjoying it. By now, I have indeed experienced the issue of hypersensitivity with regards to the nib (the stylus registering marks even though it's still about 1-2 cm away from the screen). It's happened about 4-5 times so far in the last 30 days. The good news is it's a very easy fix -- just remove the battery, reinsert it and the stylus will go back to normal. As for battery life, I'm still using the original battery with about 1-3 hours of daily usage for the last month. So the battery life thus far has matched my expectations. *************************************************************************************************************** Seeing all the negative 1-star reviews, I decided to put in my 2 cents. I've been using this stylus for a total of about 40 hours now and I have to say -- it's well worth the money. With regards to the more popular styluses (Surface Pen, Apple Pencil, Samsung S-Pen) it offers near-parallel quality in terms of writing and lack of latency, although it doesn't offer some of their features (buttons on the stylus or an eraser feature). But at 1/2 to 1/3 of the cost of those others, the value is obvious and quite understated. Now the caveats. The latency will greatly depend on the app you're using. For note taking, PDF marking, and light drawing I use "Squid" and the latency is virtually nonexistent. For more intricate drawing, I use "Concepts," "Click Studio" and "Sketchbook by Autodesk." The latency on Sketchbook is noticeable (though not inhibiting), but Concepts and Click Studio have the same negligible latency as Squid. These applications make this stylus a dream to work with. The quality of writing will depend on the cleanliness of your screen. I found that if my screen is SUPER clean, it causes friction on the nib and makes for a very rough feel as I write. But if my screen is too inundated with smudges and fingerprints, then the nib doesn't make very good contact and skips a beat or two, causing broken lines. So I've taken to gently cleaning my screen with a microfiber cloth, but not using any cleaning solutions. This allows the nib to flow very smoothly across the screen, akin to a well working ballpoint pen. The palm rejection is great, but not perfect. After testing this on numerous apps, I think the palm rejection is related to the app being used just as much as the stylus itself. On "OneNote," the palm rejection is fairly bad. The stylus registers and makes the intended marks, but dots also keep showing up where my palm was resting. The same dots appear on most of my other apps as well, but not nearly as frequently as with OneNote. But so far the palm rejection on Squid, Concepts, Click Studio and Sketchbook has been fantastic. So overall, I'd say Lenovo still needs to work on improving the palm rejection on this stylus, but it certainly isn't a deal-breaker except for perhaps the most nitpicking of users. And lastly, I believe all the reviews regarding the hypersensitivity of the stylus (causing it to make marks while the nib is still a centimeter away) may be due to the Chromebook they're using. I've noticed every single one of those reviews was written by people using this stylus on the Lenovo Duet. It may be that the screen on that Chromebook reacts poorly with the stylus. I use the stylus with my Lenovo Flex 5i (and again, I've had absolutely zero issues regarding hypersensitivity and unwanted marks). With that said, my positive experience may also be because Lenovo has fixed the issue. I noticed the nib on my stylus is rather pronounced, hanging about 1/2 centimeter below the tip of the stylus (as opposed to the nib being flush with the tip of stylus like the pictures show). So perhaps Lenovo, since seeing/hearing about the hypersensitivity issue, has replaced all the nibs with these new ones and has resolved that problem. Whatever the case, I've had nothing but a 95% positive experience with this stylus. It's relatively cheap. It feels good to hold. It writes very smoothly with excellent pressure sensitivity. And there is no hypersensitivity as written by many others a year ago. Well worth the $35 in this Chromebooker's opinion.

Disappointed
Doesn’t work. My son has tried everything to make this pen pair with the Lenovo labtop he has and nothing works. Very disappointing. He needed it for college asap. Plus it was supposed to come with batteries and it didn’t. Now he has to figure a way off campus(he’s a freshman and no vehicle the first year) to send it back to Amazon. The whole thing is very irritating.

Ideal for notetaking and that’s about it
Pairs instantly and the functionality is there using Google‘s cursive Chromebook software but you can also install Google Keep to sync Notes between devices. Now i’m giving it four stars overall because it does what it promises but not very well, if you’re looking for a pen for notetaking and navigating it’s perfect especially for the price. Now if you’re expecting Apple Pencil level drawing abilities then you’ll be sadly disappointed. There is significant lag what making lines that’s not very noticeable when you take notes at a normal pace but it’s very noticeable when drawing. If you’ll be using your stylus for navigation and occasional notetaking then this is a great device to pair nicely with your chrome book tablet. I was using the Lenovo duet 5 running chrome OS version 102.0.500 5.22

The Unexpected convenience of a Lenovo Stylus
A Handy Addition Opening the box and taking out the pen was absolutely flawless, I must say. It was easily usable straight away with no fuss whatsoever. Honestly, I rather underestimated the sheer convenience of having this stylus for my Lenovo Chromebook Duet Gen 9; it's turned out to be quite the addition! While it's lovely to have the function of it sticking to the back of the Chromebook so I don't misplace it, do make a note of this: the magnet on the pen isn't as strong as one might hope. If you barely bump the desk, it goes tumbling right off. If you pick up your Chromebook with the pen attached, it will definitely fall off, even with the magnet; expecting it to stay put is definitely not the case. If you intend to carry the stylus around with you, you might want to invest in a case that has a dedicated pen holder. In all it feels great, Writing with it is great its compatible with my device and the price was nice for this great pen.

Extremely weak magnets
Works out of the box and I appreciate the replaceable battery. The magnets, however, are incredibly weak and placing it on the pen cutout of my Lenovo Duet 11, it falls off simply from gravity at any angle where it’s possible. The only option here is to keep it separate.

Greatest active Chromebook stylus of all time. Worked great for school note taking! Loved my time with it!
