I bought this as a gift for my sister who wants to learn Japanese, I was excited to see that there were some games at the end of each section to work on recognizing the hiragana/katakana and making it fun. I bought myself a copy so we could work on it together even though I have taken courses. I took “writing practice sheets for all hiragana and katakana characters” to mean that it would include individual sheets teaching the entire chart. I’ve included a picture where I’ve outlined the ones the book does cover. It doesn’t touch the additional sections of hiragana that use ten tens, marus, or the sounds created by adding ya, yu, yo. I went to the QR code in the front cover hoping maybe it would have printable sheets for those missing in the book. It comes with another chart of hiragana and katakana, and some empty practice sheets. If you are wanting to focus on the basic set this book is for you. But if you are looking for an in-depth workbook to learn how to write and read the entire hiragana chart you should look for a different book.
