An emotional and angsty Rockstar romance
4.5⭐️ / 5⭐️Drive was my first read by Kate Stewart and I am enamored with the way this woman’s words make me feel. I am quite literally so excited to read every single word this woman publishes.🎶About the book🎶Drive is book 1 in The Bittersweet Symphony Duet. It is an angsty and emotional Rockstar Romance that will absolutely take over your thoughts and capture your soul. Drive is the definition of love triangle done right. For a while I couldn’t decide who I wanted Stella to end up with and that’s the best feeling you could have while reading a love triangle romance. Needless to say, I am EXTREMELY HAPPY that the book ended the way it did.Stella recently moved to Austin, has no money, no job, no car, and is sleeping on her sister’s couch. She is living and breathing the definition of hardship, but she isn’t letting it get her down. She is so determined to become a journalist who travels the country to cover musicians/bands. Music is her heart and soul. She’s young, strong, determined, and will do anything to get what she wants. I quite literally love her. This is her story, her love triangle, and you will quite literally fall in love with it.🎶Rockstar Romance🎶Workplace Romance🎶Second Chance🎶Love Triangle🎶Emotional🎶Right Person, Wrong Time🎶Angsty

Driven by Love: An Emotional Experience!
Drive by Kate Stewart is an emotional rollercoaster, and the audiobook amplifies that journey beautifully. This love triangle is one of the most devastatingly well-executed stories I’ve encountered. What makes it even more heart-wrenching is how much I genuinely loved both male characters, which made choosing a “side” nearly impossible. Stewart captures the complexity of love, timing, and personal growth so vividly that you can’t help but feel every ounce of passion, heartbreak, and hope.Stella’s journey is captivating as we follow her dreams, setbacks, and the choices that define her relationships and future. The musical elements woven throughout the story amplify the emotions, making every pivotal scene even more impactful. Each chapter feels like a song on a mixtape, layered with meaning and intensity. The angst in this book is palpable—it’s brimming with longing, missed opportunities, and moments that leave your heart aching. The audiobook narration is exceptional. Wenn Ross and Kia Kennicott deliver a dual-style performance that perfectly captures the raw emotions and distinct perspectives of the characters. Their voices bring authenticity and depth to the story, enhancing the listening experience. The pacing and delivery ensure that every emotional beat lands just right, immersing the listener completely. This is a story that stays with you long after the last chapter, and the audiobook only elevates its emotional impact. Whether you’re reading or listening, Drive hits every note perfectly.

One of the greatest!
I have a deeply seated love-hate relationship with Kate Stewart. Her books are among my favorite, and she is definitely my favorite author. At the very same time, she rips my soul to shreds and puts it back together the way only she can.The depth of characters written by K.S. is unmatched. This book is no different! I was connected from the beginning while at the same time wishing for the dreaded surface level to avoid inflicted pain. This story gave me highs and lows that left me sobbing and kicking my feet with laughter. I finished this in less than 24 hours. And I can't wait to start Reverse immediately!

Kate Stewart doing what she does best!
I love Kate Stewart and needed something to quench the Ravenhood thirst while I await Tyler's book... iykyk...So my fellow addicts recommended this trilogy...This is book one. It wasn't as soul devouring as Flock, I don't think... but it was a very easy read, fun romance, with lots of music in it. It also takes place and has a ton of references to south/central Texas, which I love, being from and living in the area.It had her great quippy banter, and Idk how to describe it. It's just her style I enjoy and how captivating her characters are.I hear the whole trilogy is as good as the Ravehood series, and it's really not fair that I compare everything she will ever write to that, but... I am.I need to read the next 2 to get the full scope, and will start Reverse tomorrow. But this independently is a good read. Not show stopping but I also really enjoyed it, if that makes sense. It's a Romance through and through and follows a girl who is trying to find her way in Austin, her first time on her own kinda thing. If you enjoy music and a good hearty romance with some spice, not jaw dropping super well written spice, but still, spice, you'll like this one.

Obsessed with this series
Kate has done it again. Her writing is just incredible and draws me in. I connect to the story and characters so deeply.I finished and was overall happy with the ending but at the same time was heartbroken and sad. It’s strange to feel both so intensely at the same time but I’m guessing that’s how Stella felt so it seems fitting.I fell for Reid early on. I’ll always fall for the damaged ones. But then you throw in Nate and I was equally falling for him. This may be the first time I couldn’t choose. I want both.I do feel it ended how it should but a part of me will always be a bit crushed. Also the 11:11 was special to me. I’ve always tried to remember to make a wish anytime I’m awake and see the time. As a teenager I did it almost every night.Look up Stella will forever give my instant chills.Another amazing story that made me feel all the feels. I’ll be diving into the next book now.PS: Finishing this on 11.11 was perfect
