Wikki Stix Activity Set

This set is MUCH better value than Bendaroos (we have both) and comes with a board plus a resealable large storage plastic bag. Wikki Stix are virtually 98% identical to Bendaroos. The wax layer is slightly thicker on these sticks (still we are talking fractions of millimetres here) but they are just as flexible, colourful and fun. I wish I'd never bought the vastly overpriced Bendaroos now which for comparison came in a tiny brown cardboard box (no effort on packaging whatsoever) and were shorter.My three children aged 4-9 have all enjoyed playing with these, they leave no mess, stains or residue and have been stuck to doors, walls and picures with no problems. My 7 year old likes making bridges and tracks for his toy cars with his. My 9 year old is making lots of plaited jewellery and my 4 year old makes 'pictures' and sticks them to everything in sight. You need to hold them for a few seconds to stick them together, the warmth from your fingers slightly softens the wax so they join. My 4 year old hasn't quite got the hang of this but he's still happy freestyling and making his own wierd and wonderful creations.Great activity toy which has kept my children occupied for hours and as an adult I've enjoyed playing with them too.They don't crumble or dry out and there are no sharp parts.Wikki Stix 5/5, Bendaroos 3/5Highly recommended for over 3s.

I love WikkiStix, as a Mum of 2 and a nanny I find stuff like this great for keeping kids entertained without the mess of some craft products and without the use of tvs/computers etc..This set is brilliant as it comes with a special board to make your creations on therefore making it a good travel actvity too. My only gripe is that the board is poorly finished off..the tape around it hasn't been applied properly so is peeling making the board sticky. I have edited my review because of this as my original review was based on having had these before. I bought this for a little girls birthday so have only just opened the box. There are many uses for the stix from bending them into letter shapes, making pictures, 3d shapes or even (as my children have done) plaiting them or using them to stick stuff on memo boards instead of blu-tak.

I bought this to keep in my'grandchildrens amusement cupboard' for when they come and stay with me. I prefer to give them constructive and interesting things to do rather than to sit them in front of the television or computer.Initially it did not look very inspiring and expensive for what was in the box .... but once we got going and after reading some of the suggestions my grandaughter was inspired and really creative with her designs and construction, my slightly older grandson was not quite so enthused.

We bought this for a very long journey and 2 week holiday in Bali. It's absolutely brilliant, such a simple idea but everyone from my 3 year old son to 70 year old father in law loved making pictures with it. Part of the joy is the feel of the wikki stix. Only drawback is putting the stix back onto the plastic backing to keep them all together.

The product is fab - you can make the wikki sticks into anything and there is no mess! However, the images on the cover are very simple and child-like (it looks as if it should be a product from the 70s). We have the waxi-doodles at home (which are also fab but twice the price). I bought this cheaper alternative as a gift and wished I'd paid more for the waxi-doodles.If buying for yourself, save your money and buy these ;-)

Great fun and clean activity bought to occupy a little one at a wedding. Recommend as a nice way to have fun with all ages as very tactile. Have used before in my role working with children with additional needs.

For such an inexpensive toy I cannot believe how much these have been used by my 3 and 5 year olds. They are perfect for fine motors skills and creativity. They've been used around pictures and dot-to-dots, hats and socks have been made for the dinosaurs, they've been made into little people, animals and jewellery.I have been recommending them to friends, family and my patients!

Wikki Stix Activity Set My mother bought some of these for my grandaughter. They are a simple but great idea. They can be used over and over again and never dry out. They are growing with her. She is almost 8 and now loves to design her own jewellery with her stix and then pretend to sell them in her exclusive store. Great for younger children too althought I suspect girls may prefer them to boys once they get passed 5.

I had never heard of Wikki Stix until I was researching low maintenance crafts to keep my 4 year old busy on a flight. I decided to try them since they were so inexpensive, and it was the best decision I made. This was my daughters favorite craft to play with our entire vacation, and it kept her busy for long periods of time. I also love that they are low maintenance and no mess. They are just yarn with wax covering them, so like all wax, they will attract lint/hair, but I found them easy to clean off. I am glad I got this activity set that came with the board, we just stick them to the board when she is done playing, then put it all back in the heavy duty zip top bag that came with it. Bonus: They are reusable multiple times, just warm the wax up with the heat from your hands to make them more pliable.

Unser Sohn hat Wikki Stix von einem Restaurant in Amerika zur Begrüßung bekommen. Von diesem Tag an, war es seine Lieblingsbeschäftigung unterwegs. Wir hatten die Stix immer dabei und somit einen tollen Zeitvertreib, wenn es doch mal langweilig wurde! Tolle Sache!

Assez ludique pour le jeu libre, il peut aussi être utilisé comme guide ligne en graphisme (ou en coloriage pour matérialiser les bords et ne pas dépasser ) donc pas mal d'utilisation possible.

We love wiki stix. My 4 year old especially loves to play with these and I love them because they are a no mess activity. The board that comes with this set is perfect for him to create his masterpieces. He also sometimes us s them with other toys, mostly his playmobil and toy animals. He will use them to wrap up a leg as a cast or make them a hat. This is one of my go to birthday gifts for the preschoolers in my life, they are just great. I will probably get a second set for my younger son soon too so they both have a board and can have even more sticks to work with. I've attached a picture my son made of a girl with her dog.
