I have been using this product for a few years now, because it gets the job done quickly. I treated a water feature a couple of weeks ago and within hours it was clearly almost melting the stringy blanket weed. Within a 48 hours it was clear. In my wild pond it got rid of the blanket weed and stringy algae weed within the week, but weeks later and repeat applications, the pond water is still green but absolutely no blanket weed. My ponds are in full sun for most the day. The fish pond with a UV Filter is clear but my wildlife pond is oxenginated but green in colour. It claims to get rid of blanket weed and it always delivers. Its easy to use, lasts for ages and for that reason its worth the money to me.

This is the second time I purchased this product for my hubby. He uses it as directed. It works wonders as usual. All algae disintegrated & makes water clear. I had shibunkans, good fish & now koi and all fish was fine when product used. Lasts more than six months. Price wise same as in pet shops.

Tried it a few months ago and blanket weed grew more than ever. Then realised I had not followed instructions. High dose for two weeks, then lower dose once a month. Will do it correctly and report back. I love twirling the stuff out on a stick though. 😃

Just excellent and does what it says on the tub. Got rid of the blanket weed in 2 weeks which had taken over our pond. Would highly recommend

While the powder has eliminated the weed, the pond water still remains unclear after repeated use. Time will tell as to how effective this product is
