Really good product

I'll start this off by saying I've not got much recent experience with watercolour, last time I tried it was when I was about 6 and my mother gave me a set to do landscapes. That aside I've finished one piece completely, and have a half finished piece to complete, I found the texture of the paper did grip my pencils a bit more when drawing the line work. but once I started using watercolours the paper held up incredibly well, I saw no bubbling of the paper no curling of the edges. And the colour bonded really well making it easy to attempt shading. I've supplied a picture of the piece I worked on just to show how well the paper held up as at time even I thought I'd used too much water.

Fantastic, smooth paper, works with everything you throw at it. Pencil, makers, paint, go for it!

I am a professional artist , and Iv only been using Bockingford paper 300gsm for years . I recently switched to derwent watercolor A2 as this was the only brand availin the size I wanted . I am so pleased with the quality of this paper . It takes my pencils graphite and charcoal so well. Very easy to work with and the price point … is on point . I 100% recommend this for all artists .

High quality paper and a good price

This is very nice paper. I normally prefer a cold press and this is very smooth. However using the Derwent graphitint, intense and watercolor pencils on it, the mark lines just melt away. Very nice!!

Quality is excellent. I have used watercolor pencils with this. Very tidy to work. I am much satisfied. Would definitely recommend if u are looking for a standard watercolor sketchbook.

El papel tiene un grosor muy decente; rara vez se deformará, especialmente si se trabaja por capas con un periodo de secado entre cada una. Permite realizar trabajos bastante detallados y finos. Si trabajas con colores acuarelables, los trazos de los mismos podrán ser un poco notorios, por lo cual hay que tener más cuidado. Me parece que es más blanco que otros papeles de similar precio.

Klasse Papier zum günstigen Preis. Dieses Derwent Papier ist großartig, günstig und vielseitig. Es kann nicht nur für Aquarell verwendet werden, sondern auch für Buntstifte und Bleistifte. Achtung mit Bleistifte. Besonders bei der Skizze nicht fest drücken, da ansonsten Radierspuren zu sehen ist. Im Bezug auf Buntstifte. Ich habe auf der linken Seite Farbverläufe gemacht und mit cutter und Radierer die weissen Effekte gemacht. Den grün und braunen Verlauf mit Dulant N (Farbverdünner). Das Herz mit ein Aquarell-Buntstiften (Filzstifte die wasservermalbar sind). Der Apfel wurde mit Aquarell Stiften gemalt. Die Eichel von Derwent Lightfast und das Ahorn Blatt von Prismacolor. Leider habe ich noch nicht ausprobiert, wie das Papier sich bei Nass und Nass Techniken verhält. Aber zum üben von Trockenzeichnungen, kann ich dieses Papier nur empfehlen. Für einfache Aquarellzeichnungen reicht es vollkommen aus. Habe auch schon ein zweites Exemplar bestellt.

Ces feuilles sont parfaites , pour des crayons aquarellables , pour les inktenses aussi et meme l'aquarelle ! Bon , si il y en avait plus , ce serait royal !!
