Natural Terracotta Round Dish with Lid 20cm, Brown

First class product and service, used in my pizza oven and green egg. Highly recommended.

This is a great little casserole/roasting dish. Unfortunately ours came with a hairline crack under the knob/handle on top that I thought would be alright but, after just a short while of use, fell off cleanly when picking the dish lid up (cold at the time!) Thankfully, Amazon were able to replace it but this new dish looks like it won't be particularly robust either ... The fact that the dishes are rather cheaply made is a real shame because the design and size is perfect. In fact it's now my 'go-to' dish for any small casseroles or roasts (e.g. roasting just a couple of chops, chicken breasts etc.) as it keeps the heat/flavour in and cooks nicely due to the compact space for smaller portions. Just rather on tenterhooks now as to how long it will last ... !

I bought these to replace some old dishes of a similar type. These are a bit bigger, deeper and heavier but do great in the oven or also for cold salad dishes. Not tried them on the BBQ! ...although it says they should be okay.

I've only used it on the hob and it did get really hot but it's a good size for one person and cleans up really well. Used it three times and when washing up noticed the bottom was black and a big crack, thrown it away.

Perfect for a beautiful Cassoulet for two people and works as a good Taco warmer, too. Very happy with it.

Have just thrown another of these away. Cracked all the way round and the bottom fell off. They do not last. Will now buy a more expensive porcelain version and hope it will prove more durable as I find this type of utensil very useful and use it regularly.

perfect size, makes great stews for 1/2 person meals. also elegant and eco friendly dishwasher safe. I use it make baby food because kts a natural material I just ordered three more !
