I'm pleased with this fleece. The stitching on both of them is in good order with no cotton thread hanging from anywhere. The zippers though not YKK work perfectly. They have plenty of room in the main pockets which are very deep and the hood fits well though the peak is not rigid. I was going to buy the helikon-tex version of this tactical style fleece but at nearly £30 more than this product I'm kinda glad I didn't. And these fleeces are more than adequate for my needs. I'm quite a large guy weighing in at just under 19 stone and I'm 6ft tall. I got the 3xl and they fit with enough room to get a few layers on under them. They are extremely warm so are perfect for cold winter days hiking or camping. All in all a decent product at a very reasonable price and I'll definitely be buying more for myself.

Overall product is fine and is warm. It has drawstrings around the waist which is good.Only gripe is the sleeves could be longer.

It's a fleece

I was after something comfortable and warm and this fleece delivers. I picked a medium as I am between sizes, and I wanted something snug and not baggy. There are no hand pockets, which I like. There are plenty of other pockets, all with zips, including a back one, suitable for a lightweight waterproof.The heat retention is excellent. It has a military styling, which is exactly what I was after. Get the right size and there is nothing to dislike about this fleece.

I brought a size XXL for a 46-48" Chest and it fits with room for light layers underneath without being TOO big. I could have probably gotten away with XL if i wanted it snug.Essentially these are mid priced, mid quality copies of more expensive, higher quality fleeces. They do the job for generally knocking about in but overall not a patch on Helikon's Patriot jackets.They are single layer fleece so only as warm as a regular/zip up 'hoodie', not really up to use as a jacket.They don't have pit zips like the Patriot, but it's not really warm enough to need them.The hood is adequate and well sized but it doesn't have any adjustment toggles.The pockets are a bit meh. The two main chest pockets have no dividers or loops and the zips run the full length/depth of the pocket, so if fully open anything within the pocket will be liable to hang or fall out, They really do need a D-ring sewn in to hang keys or a small multitool from.The arm pockets will hold a small mobile or MP3 player, but you'll struggle with a 5" plus smartphone.It does however have the 'back pocket' which some of the other 'clone' fleeces like the Tacvasen and the Kombat UK 'Recon' don't.Final gripe is the sleeves. I like the thumbholes, but the sleeve itself is too loose. I may end up threading a piece of elasticated cord through them.Overall: OK for everyday, general/work use. Nothing exceptional but not totally dreadful either.

This is a reasonably made and thick fleece which fit as expected (I'm a UK large and a large was perfect for me).My only issue with the fleece is that it simply is not windproof. No fleece is unless there is a windproof liner sewn in. Having said that, if they tested it by getting a sparrow to fart on it then it would certainly have passed that test.Overall, it's well worth the £38 I spent and I would recommend.
