Not the best purchase from Thermos
Thermos has been my trusted brand for drinking containers for over 40 years, never really considered anything else. Unfortunately this thing leaked within a few days of purchase. Left it lying on the car seat, which became wet and stained when dry. Might been a faulty bottle, come Thermos 🤔, you can do much better, this is your core business.

Superb
I have been looking for a water bottle that I could fill and place in my rucksack, without fear of it leaking. I actually found this item posted elsewhere and after reading the reviews I decided to take a "punt"I must say firstly, this is a nice sized bottle. I love the colours available and I think to the eye it looks stylish and elegant. The cap is a flip top mechanism which opens after a push of a button, the cap includes a rubber seal that prevents water from escaping. There is a handle type "lock" but im not sure that this added feature is really necessary, it does make it look more fancy though. There is a small handle also allowing you to hook the bottle or tie it to a leash or other form of attachment, which again, looks fancy but also serves a great purpose. You can hold this lightweight bottle on one finger whilst carrying other items, ior attach it to a strap for example in a bag to make sure it doesnt get lost. The "handle" is not static it moves up and down, looks very secure and will not suffer any snapping. The base of the lid/cap there is a meter whic allows you to keep track of the amount of water you have consumed with each click (you have to adjust this yourself)I like the overall design apart from one thing, the bottle shape is not perfectly round, so this poses a problem when placing it into a cup holder example (I would imagine on a bike too , although I have not tried) it does not fit snuggly and wobbles. The bottle istself is lightweight and does not toppe when placed on a table top surface. When full and after many tests (keeping the bottle upside down on a draining board) I found it did not leak one bit. Finally I have found what I have been looking for, after many disasters from other products, that purport that they will not leak, but have resulting in a dead smart phone and tablet in my rucksack. Not something I would like to happen again. The spout is comfortable to use, and enables free flowing motion. I also like that the whole bottle cap included, allows cleaning everywhere, there are no nook and crannies here that will evade getting cleaned. Oh and its dishwasher safe too which is also a nice little plus.Overall, this is a lovely water bottle, and one you can put your trust in. I managed to get this on offer for £4.50. I would say it is definitely worth around the £5.00 mark but any more than that I feel is too pricey, for what it is.Would I recommend it yes.

New design
New design, but not as good as old shape, lid does not flip on a spring like the old design. And safety catch not very easy to get off in a hurry. This is my 4 th and none of them have ever leaked

Nearly perfect. Avoid sunscreen
I used one of these for *nine years* with no problem at all, and when the lid finally broke after one too many head-first drops, I just went out and got another one. It's really easy to pop open, it's really easy to fill, you can get ice in there no problem, it never drips or leaks, I don't have to treat it with any care... it's practically perfect. Removing out the inside seal for cleaning is a little fiddly (I need to use a toothpick) but I actually forgot to do this for most of the preceding 9 years and it only resulted in a small amount of gross build-up. Not that I recommend that.I recently noticed that if I have sunscreen (SPF 50) on my hands, my fingerprints fog the Tritan plastic. It's most obvious on the clear lid rather than the body. It's just cosmetic damage, and I had almost certainly done the same thing to the old one for nine years and it had been indistinguishable from ordinary wear. However if you care about keeping the bottle pristine, avoid it.

I've sworn by this bottle for four years.
I'm on my fourth one of these bottles because I'm an irresponsible person who loses everything. I've tried other bottles; the fancy save-the-planet metal ones that are always too heavy for simply carrying a bit of H20, the straw ones that make me feel like a baby and the sucky ones that make me feel like hybrid of cyclist and baby. However, I always come back to this because(1) it has measurements in millilitres and the other liquid measurement idk(2) it's easy to hold and has a wee handle to click it onto backpacks so I'm a bit less likely to lose it (I also enjoy fiddling with the handle because I'm restless)(3) IT HAS A POPPY OPEN LID which is fun (I don't like feeling like a baby but a child, I can deal with) and makes you drink more water(4) even though I AM a save-the-planet woman and would rather metal ones, plastic is lighter and any bottle is better than single use(5) I'm super duper picky about the size, shape and type of opening you drink out of and this perfect. No explaining to that, it just is mateI conclusion, this is the longest Amazon review I ever have or ever will write because I'm a shameless water bottle loving person and choose to use this one everyday, whether it be in school, up a mountain or travelling the world.
