Smaller than expected but excellent game. 4 year old loves it
Isn't the same as picture and comes in a thing box that open at side (not a lid and box). The board game is still a descent size and kids love this game but just smaller than I expected but maybe if read description I would know. All the same it good value.I bought it to have an old traditional game and my 4 year old absolutely loves it. Encourages him to count and share and wait his turn.

Excellent value for money
Excellent product. Nice simple board in good bold colours. Sturdy- my 6 yr old bent it the wrong way the first time she was packing it away and although it naturally cracked but it hasn't needed reinforcing and works perfectly.Counters are a bit cheap but for this price it's not surprising and if you are fussy use different ones! Dice and dice shaker both included.Very good value for money!

Fun and Educational
Helps with counting skills, although it could have been helpful if there were numbers on all the squares asyounger children may get a bit confused with the odd numbers missing from the board, overall a fun game.Biggest problem is with the quality of the board its nice and colorful but quite flimsy and i am unsure how longit will last.. they could have made a little thicker to give the product a quality feel, saying that for theprice its a decent buy. I only gave it four star due to the quality of the board.

I was after a Snakes and Ladders game for use as an all round family game. I'm happy to report that I'm very pleased with the overall quality of this particular version. The board it's self is very good quality with good art-work and a sensible layout that makes games interesting without being overly long and/or frustrating or being too short and/or boring. The dice and counters are pretty much on par and it is was nice to find that a shaker was included. If you are after a value-for-money Snakes and Ladders game then you really can't go wrong woth this particular version.

The game of snakes and ladders is of course well known so there is no need to comment on that. But this one has a few things that we don't like.1) Some of the snakes are a bit unclear as to where exactly they start. Sometimes the tongue of the snake peeks across onto another square to that where the head is located, so from which square should you go down?2) When progressing as every 2nd number is missing, and some others are partially covered by graphics, then sometimes the numbers not very clear so it is too easy to make a mistake and go the wrong direction. Most adults make this mistake, so for a small child it is difficult.3) The board only folds up in one direction and this is not indicated. So for a very small child (such as my 3 year old) they cannot understand this and are more likely to break the product while trying to fold it up.4) The box is much bigger than it needs to be. The board takes up just about 1/3 of the size of the box and the other pieces could fit underneath easily.

Good Old Fashioned Board Game
I remember this board game from when I was a kid in the late 1950's and early 1960's. The rules are simple, roll the dice and move your counter the number of spaces shown. If you land at the bottom of a ladder you climb it. Similarly if you land on the head of a snake you slide down it. First one to reach the last square on the board wins. Best of all no batteries required.I bought it for my six year old niece. She loves it. Glad to see the traditional games are still appreciated

AAAaaaaahhhhh. A Snake!!!
We implemented a mid-week games day to give the kids a little more fun at home... It had nothing to do with the fact that us adults wanted to blow off a little steam from time to time, also!Snakes and ladders. Children of all ability can play this game. Handy for teaching social skills (wait your turn, converse, praise, etc. The best part about this game is the sense of nostalgia you get as a grown up though...Reasonable build quality for the price point. A fine game.

Awful!!
Appalled. Not only was it poorly made, a completely different version of the snakes and ladders game was sent. A small board, no dice pot, and the pictures on the board were Confusing, too many and of dragons and Halloween symbols! My son is autistic and had chose this himself with money he was gifted, he was mortified when this arrived and had been waiting near the front door for the delivery for the majority of the day. Nothing like advertised. Disappointed and have a very distressed upset boy who is very confused
